The noise from the highway was fairly constant because the hotel is located in a fairly thin strip of land between the highway and the water. Although the beach itself is beautiful, the area isn't great for a morning walk: I ended up walking along the highway. At night, I had hoped to sit out by the water and enjoy the stars, but bright floodlights, although great for safety, detracted from the peacefulness of the setting. In the hours after and before the front desk was staffed, I worried each time I left my room that I wouldn't be able to get back in and also that I wouldn't be able to get back into the lobby/hotel itself when I went outside because my keycard didn't work consistently, and because coffee and tea were only available in the lobby I had to leave my room more than I would have liked.

The location is beautiful, with the beach right in front of the hotel and plenty of lounge chairs available for relaxing on.

The property was old and a little rundown. The room was not very private and we could hear a lot of noise from the hallway.

The room was clean, the location wax.nice, and the staff were friendly.

Common areas were blocked off at night, and were still not open when I left just before 9am. Also Booking.com charged me about $100 more than their rate!

Limited parking. Plan accordingly that the front desk isn’t 24hrs but they are very accommodating.

Small room for 5 people. I thought we booked a larger suite. Only room that didn't come with either a sliding door or a/c. Fairly far from campbell river. No beach. BBQ would have been nice.

The lady at the desk was quick to offer a refund for the 2 days we canceled. The other rooms and suites looked nice. 210 is the worst room, avoid it. Nice outdoor area. Plenty of free coffee. Coin operated washer and dryer.

Our room was beside the steam room. We don't got lots of sleep the second day. Something was wrong, but the management didn't fixed the problem, they don't care, it's very hard for everyone when they don't talk the language. It's sad to see the place going down hill. 😪

The cleaning lady unlocked the door and walked right in on Friday morning without knocking. We checked in on Thursday and were not leaving until Monday. We found that odd that she used her keyed and just came right in.
