How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing really. Only thing I could nitpick over was we didn’t get much sun in the balcony.
The apartment setup was really practical and with 2 baths and laundry facilities was perfect for our family. beds were very comfortable and the car parking is good once you know what you are doing. We also enjoyed the pool. Fantastic supermarket right across the street and easy walk to everything.

We had to go up stairs with a stroller and a one-year-old to get to the room. The car was downstairs from the ground floor so, we had to deal with a stroller and stairs no matter what.
Excellent location, great kitchen, comfortable.

There is still a hold on my credit card for breakages of which there were none. Please release the hold immediately,
The location was very good, close to town and shops. The apartment was very well appointed and was spotless. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms had very good showers.

It lacked adequate lamps/lighting and a desk. I was in town mostly for work, and would have appreciated a place to sit with my computer and decent lighting to read. Perhaps biggest concern in really hot weather: no AC. I was fine during my stay because the weather was relatively cool.
The layout, bed, kitchen, a couple of the chairs which were very comfortable. Location, very clean.

Excellent communication with staff - all done online and via the telephone. Fantastic accommodation - very clean, well equipped and extremely comfortable. Secure parking was a bonus. Excellent location, within walking distance of the village, amenities and tourist attractions.

Points of improvement (which don't detract too much as overall the place is great): mattresses are too soft. Decor could use a refresh. Checkout procedures could do with some simplification (I understand not wanting the cleaners to do dishes but taking out garbage seems like standard cleaners' duty, and things are frantic enough for guests when they are trying to corrall people and things and check out so not adding to the load at that time would be great)
Location is excellent, short walk to village center. A grocery store is directly opposite. The place was full of thoughtful touches! I didn't use these but appreciated: there was a portable AC, bedrooms had TV, bathroom had a straightening iron in addition to hair dryer. Did use: bedroom's fan, balcony's seating, kitchen's available pans, living room TV with netflix. Parking for unit is directly below it so very convenient. Master bath has 2 doors so convenient if you are large group and sharing bathrooms. Really enjoyed this offering - more facilities than a hotel and more professionally run than someone's airbnb. Did not use pool which seemed pretty popular too.

The property itself was old and shabby and definitely needs some investment. We had one child sleeping on the sofa bed, but we could not access the bed linen because they were in a wardrobe of which the door was broken. So we had to fix the wardrobe door to be able to access that linen. On the bedroom dresser, the doorknob came off in my hand when I went to open it. The sofa bed itself was dirty with crumbs and stains on the cushions. The dishwasher had not been emptied so we had to do that on arrival. We also requested the fridge to be stocked and we paid for that, but when we arrived, there was no food in the fridge. (that all was subsequently refunded.). Finally, the information provided was a little bit misleading and incomplete. We were told we would have a patio, but we had a very small dark balcony. There was also inadequate information on how to access Parking on arrival at the property.
