Right on the highway but the rooms were quiet. The property is dated but very well cared for. Everything was clean. For large people the small size of the toilet and its location may be awkward. There is a very nice family restaurant in walking distance where we enjoyed good home cooked foods at a decent price.

Only problem for us was the small fridge as didn't really hold a lot of items and no freezer to re-freeze your ice packs!

Motel was just outside of the main downtown area so was fairly quiet! The room was a good size and comfortable! Big ceiling fan provided good airflow! Bed was comfortable and the whole room was clean!

TV is not hooked on cable, only wifi, so if you do not have a paid TV account you cannot watch anything. Because our bikes are very pricey, we had asked in advance to be allowed to bring them into our room or have a safe place to store them. The property had said this was no problem but when we got there the only place they would allow us to store our bikes was in their garage, which I did not trust. After an argument with the owner, he said we could bring our bikes into the room with us if I paid a 200$ safety deposit, which he would reimburse only after inspecting the room when we were leaving to make sure we had not broken anything. It was a good solution in the end and we got the deposit reimbursed, but it's unfortunate I had to argue with him for about 15 minutes before he offered it, while two other clients were waiting behind me and could hear everything. One of them told my husband he would just go somewhere else and then left.

It was the only place to stay half way through a 230 km biking trip over two days. So in a sense, location was convenient, but it is close to the provincial highway and the train tracks, so not very quiet. Everything was shaking at night when a train a train was passing by. There was a good sports bar 1-minute walk away from it, so at least we had a good dinner and good breakfast the next morning. We had asked for a room without carpet because I have allergies and that request was honored. The room was very tiny but had everything we needed in it.

The building seems bit old and you can see that in the tub wall area from the discoloration of grout lines.It was ok with me because the price was very much affordable and for all the other great things about this room.

The cleanliness and the quietness was an aset.The frint desk staff was very friendly and nice.We had all what needed in the room.

The room is dated. The knob in the shower did not work: it was either boiling hot or icing cold. There is a strong cigarette smell in the room. The layout of the room does not work: big leather sofa nudged against a bed, not leaving enough space between the two. Traffic noise all night.
