We had a pleasant stay at Monte Carlo Inn. The breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh pastries. The hotel is conveniently located, close to public transportation. Our room with a king bed was clean and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Washroom had a water leakage problem and the staff kept blaming that I need to take a quick shower so the water doesn't seeps into the leakage area... instead of getting the problem fixed!

There was not enough parking spots, the room was a bit small, the breakfast space was way too small, everyone was being cornered but other than that it was fine.

We were travelling because my brother was at the hospital for heart surgery and it was a very stressful time, unfortunately he did not survive but fortunately the front desk was very helpful and was able to extend our stay.

The bathtub in our room had a big brown stain. As a result I did not take a shower. It looked like the stain had been there for a while.

It seemed like the lobby reservation was half fast and they built a wall right in the way of a double door to go outside splitting the old door...second everything from the lobby to the rooms felt cramped and closed off........for a place that said renovations recently it was not great ......the cleaning staff and front desk staff were great

Having stayed at other Monte Carlo locations was surprised by the lobby and breakfast facilities. It was like they found a building and just made it work. Small lobby with a very small breakfast area they crammed some tables into. Bottom floor rooms more like motel style rooms you enter from outside the building. Like I stated they seemed to find a building and made it work as the bathroom sink was actually in the room not the bathroom

The room was nice enough, it was warm and clean, the shower itself was newer and nice, the window coverings completely shut so it was nice and dark and private, door seemed quiet and secure enough

We noticed a few strange people around, like possible they were on drugs by the way they were acting. A man stumbled out of his hotel room door out to the patio outside and was all out of it, along with a woman that stepped out with no pants on…

Jetted tub is noisy as it drains and takes a while to do so Could not use some of the plugs as their design did not allow me to plug in my usb power adaptor Did not look like they restocked the breakfast during the 2 1/2 hours that it is available They only had one type of cereal and had limited seating area which didn't affect me as I just brought the food back to my room Jetted tub included lavender bath beads but I did not smell any lavender

Location, it is between our 2 destinations we wanted to go which are Toronto and Niagara Falls, close to airport and a lot places to eat around the hotel.

older, mid-century motel type

good value, $127. mississauga about 20 minute drive from Downtown Toronto. but downtown comparable hotels are closer to $200, with brand hotels closer to $250. Monte Carlo was clean, room smallish. queen bed comfortable. wife easy connection, worked good. continental breakfast was good, croissants, coffee, boiled eggs, cold cereal, toast, fruit, yogurt. breakfast eating area little small, only 3 tables. most guests took a tray of food, back to their room. parking free. the monte carlo appeared to be a renovated motel, with outside entrance room doors on most floors. if you want to save some money, and don't mind the 20 minutes drive to downtown, the monte carlo should meet your needs. no swimming pool. I didn't see a workout room either.
