The property is in a remote peaceful location, Everything about the lodge including the service, is first class. Definitely recommend. And the breakfast are superb.

The cabin was great, comfortable, quiet & felt very calm. The firepit with adirondack chairs gave the place much more charm. This property was cleaned & maintained very nicely. The staff were so friendly! I would definitely book here again.

Very cozy and calm place in the middle of the woods, 10min drive from Golden. Excellent breakfast offered. We really enjoyed staying here!

The shower cubicle was a bit small and the water pressure not great.

The breakfast was amazing - Lucille is a great cook! Egg benedict on a cheese and chives waffle - delicious! Also a lovely morning yoghurt with fruit. Hot tub was a nice touch.

I can’t say to much negative about the property however one nice future improvement for guests would be to have a ski locker/board storage on the front porch this would make it more convenient rather then having to bring the gear in a leaning them up inside to dry and then having to clean up and water left from equipment.

Fabulous cabin in a stunning location in the mountains and woods above Golden. Great location for visiting several national parks and having Golden nearby for handy shopping etc (lot more convenient and accessible than busy Banff). The cabin was extremely well fitted out and beautifully designed. We loved the peace and quiet plus we could BBQ on the balcony set amongst the woods.

Mosquitoes were everywhere and known to be by the owners that that time of year and day - it would have been great to have some plug ins or deterrent in the room, and around the property. As soon as you parked and got out, you were covered.

Felt in the middle of nowhere, which was great although reality a town is just down the road. Breakfast was lovely and room comfortable.

We liked everything!

The cabin was very clean and comfortable and very well stocked with dishes, pans, and spices. I was only in the front entrance of the lodge but it looked beautiful and like it would be well worth a stay if you only needed a room. And being dog friendly in the cabins was a huge bonus.

Wow was that expensive - and the bed was horrible. Too small and way smaller than stated in the description plus if I / my partner just slightly moved during the night, the other one was immediately awake and had to take care not falling out of bed - it was like on an air mattress

The location is just stunning and Lucille and the team made us feel so welcome and comfortable. I have food allergies and Lucille ensured all my food met my needs and was delicious. The room was lovely and it was ideal location to go explore the beautiful lakes and trails around and return with ease. We would definitely stay again.

WiFi connection might be slightly bad, but anyways you get to understand that WiFi is not important where you arrive there.
