Found a room an a long weekend. Good location with easy access was to bars and restaurants, as well as the Comox ferry.

Marine Inn was a lovely surprise to our family - great location to use as a base for exploring the town and nearby places (we went to Lund and Saltery Bay). Our rooms were clean and comfortable, the toiletries, amenities were great, the staff attentive and helpful, and we liked that it's close to the ferry terminal (very helpful in the summer!). We enjoyed walking to the nearby shops and restaurants, and having free parking on-site. Special shout out to Maegan who did an exceptional job getting our room sparkling and ready for an earlier check in. Thank you Marine Inn team!

Parking was limited and I struggled to find a spot. There is no elevator so we had to carry our heavy luggage up a long flight of stairs and a steep sidewalk from the parking lot. There was no chair in the room, just the beds to sit on.

My wife had a recent knee injury and the hostess offered a room swap to a main floor room. The room was bright and modern. The shower had a rainfall showerhead and the bed was comfortable. The ferry terminal is just across the street.

We were disappointed not to find an ice machine or any breakfast offerings beyond the modest coffee setup in our room. But if you're there on a weekday, it's only a short walk to a local bakery. (The walk is the same length on the weekends, of course, but the cafe is closed).

We were impressed by the newly-remodeled rooms. Bathroom was especially nice -- stylish with a large shower with rainshower head. Everything felt new and clean, and the beds were super comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well!

there were no chairs in the room which was awkward. only one night table and bed against the wall on other side. no elevator. a bit of a climb from parking lot to entry , ok for most but if you have mobility issues might not be great . very small window in our first floor room .

There were no chairs in the room, nor was there a desk. There was no ice machine. There were few amenities.

The bathroom was lovely. The shower was excellent and the towels were very nice. We also liked the illuminated bathroom mirror. The lighting was very good. The linens and pillows were clean and comfortable. We also liked being able to bring our dog.

No ice machine on site. No elevator (didn't matter to us). Parking lot can fill up but we had a spot without issue. No chair in the room, but there was a little lounge with a couch with a coffee table and some tall chairs at a tall table, a vending machine and a microwave.

Staff was extra friendly. Isabella was extra helpful. The window looking out over the bay was a big plus. Bed was amazingly comfortable. Shower was instantly hot. Location good. Dogs OK on first floor only. Fridge & small microwave in the room. Our room had a little cooktop and washing up sink and some very basic cooking utensils.

-Lighting was very bright, with no convenient bedside lighting for reading. -Sparse furnishings, eg no chair, dresser -Property is on a steep hill, with no level walking from car to building. Very difficult for anyone with compromised mobility. No elevator. At our request upon booking to avoid stairs, the hotel provided a main level room, but failed to mention how steep the slope access is from parking. - The price point seemed steep compared to other Powell River accommodations, which suggested the room facilities would be above average and spacious, which was not the case. Room was actually smaller than average. Disappointing, and felt ripped off.

TV didn’t work either night without having to have everything reset. No bedside lamps. No deadbolt or door chain. The property really could use a large sign for the main entrance so that it can be easily found.

Great new suites, comfortable beds, very clean and newly updated. Reception was kind and helpful in dealing with tech problems.

Requested main floor for injury issues. Inn staff said they did not get request. INN was not full, so why not a change to accommodate me? No elevator.

as a wish: We forgot usb charged - would nice to have couple sockets with built-in USB charger. One or two chairs would be good addition. Couple signs about the entrance location (especially from parking spot) would be useful.

Amazing shower. Never seen such in hotels. Friendly staff. Modern smart TV - you can enjoy your apps like youtube.

No elevator to second level. No where to hang our clothes, my husband’s suit jacket. Also, we were in a kitchenette but there were no chairs or a table to sit. Also, only 1 spot for a suitcase.

The location was excellent, could just walk to the ferry when we left. The view was terrific. Loved the rain shower and the shampoo/cream rinse/lotion.

The stair is about 20 risers high. Our room was on the second floor and my wife and I are having issues climbing the stairs. It would be perfect if they have a lift.
