The location is awesome. Like the beach and the environment of the resort.

Everything was great.

A really good quality small Lodge/Hotel right on Chesterman's beach/ Cox Bay - we had an ocean view room and the views were stunning. Generously sized rooms, immaculately clean with armchairs and blankets for sitting out on the balcony. We loved it as a 2 night base for our stay in Tofino. We ate there both nights as the food was excellent and saved us driving into town. Would recommend reserving your meal time.

The lack of air conditioning made it rather uncomfortable for sleeping. We would have opened the patio doors and listened to the sea but we were on the ground floor so didn't feel safe doing that. Might be worth requesting an upper room. We were rather surprised there was no communal lounge area for relaxing out of your room, when the weather is not suitable for the outside spaces.

The view was stunning and the room and bed very comfortable. Staff were friendly and attentive and food for breakfast was delicious especially with the gorgeous view from the restaurant.

There was a huge bath, but a strange shape , that made it difficult to get comfortable in. I was also disappointed with the food. It was very tasty, but quite expensive and very few seats allowed you to actually look out at the beach, which was the real selling point of the room. Our first server was lovely, very helpful, but our second server forgot items ordered and didn’t come across as friendly. It was also Marks Birthday and I had hoped to get him something special, but they didn’t do anything like that when I asked.

Because it was midweek and off season and so much in Tofino is closed it would be great if the price reflected that a bit more.

Our room was next to the kitchen so sometimes there were a bit of noise and smell since we had to pass by the kitchen to go to the main area or simply exit the hotel.

Perfect location and amazing view; the beach is beautiful. The room was extremely clean, very spacious and cozy. Staff was very helpful and polite and the food was great.

Nothing could have been better we had a fabulous experience.

We loved being so close to the sea in a relaxed environment with very professional service. The food was excellent. We were also impressed with all the facilities and the little touches- the coffee press, water proof coats, sweets in a jar. We were grateful have access to free laundry facilities. We can’t fault our experience and would definitely come back.

LBL is right on the ocean with waves for surfing or watching at its doorstep. This was our second stay and the location, accommodations, amenities, and restaurant were perfect for our family vacation. Amazing friendly staff, too!

My only complaint would be that the electric outlet in the bathroom (rm. 115) did not work, but I managed to dry my hair in the living room instead.

The hot tub! And there were a few small maintenance things that we asked the front desk to fix, which they did immediately. Also really nice coffee and shampoos - we appreciated the environmental-consciousness, it was low waste and high quality!
