There wasn’t much to complain about, besides that the rooms are not very sound-proof (probably because it was originally a house.) so you can hear the conversations and footsteps from neighbors next door.

The entire place was very clean and organized. I loved my stay there! I would definitely comeback and stay there again. Everything was nearby and the walk outside the lake was also very nice. Loved that the room had AC!

Beautiful setting along the Gorge waterway. Lovely balcony with views. Easy access to transit and short walk to grocery store. Very kind staff who even gave me a lift to my next destination.

Location is about 8-10min away from downtown,quiet neighborhood,have an own parking inside the vicinity. We had a big room with a big balcony overlooking the lake.I like the no shoes inside the unit cause it means that they pay attention to cleanliness, room floor is tiled (meaning u dont have to deal with carpet smell) every corner is neat and sparkling clean. i booked the room on the same day we checked in with a very affordable price.host is so kind to provide the room earlier than the check in time after we requested.

Everything is perfect! Great location, nice room, fabulous view. I had a superb stay at Lipton Place by Elegant Waterfront! The host was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The unit was spotless and well-maintained. The location is unbeatable, truly waterfront, I especially enjoyed the peaceful walks along the shoreline, which are just steps away. The area is full of charm, with beautiful historic architecture, all around and a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that made it hard to leave. Perfect base to me in Victoria. I would absolutely come back and recommend it!

Our late arrival was awaited by our gracious host, there was great coffee in the foyer from a self service machine, we loved the upstairs balcony and view, and enjoyed sleeping with the balcony door open as it was quiet and safe. It felt like home.

The laundry times were very limited, we had counted on being able to do laundry and thought 8 PM was a little early to have it off limits. We also would have appreciated a bigger garbage can. I don't recall the no shoes rule on the website, I only had sneakers with shoelaces which was a pain to put on and off and the provided slippers were way too big, I could not walk in them.

The wooden bed frame was quite creaky.

The property is set in a beautiful location overlooking a lake. We were able to eat breakfast on the balcony and stroll around the lake. It was very peaceful. The room had a fridge which was handy and there was a washing machine and dryer you could use. Washing tablets were provided.

From the ad on booking.com I thought we would be getting a room that overlooked the water across the street and hand an outdoor balcony with table and chairs.

I loved the no shoes policy,the cleanliness,the fridge,the comfortable bed,the location,the comforter,the bathroom,shower,and deep tub,and the extra room for coffee in the morning and food at nite.

The bed was a little too firm for my liking, but of course this is a personal preference.

Beautifully presented period home, four poster bed, tea and coffee station on the landing downstairs. Very private room with own bathroom and sunroom with its own balcony, facing the side and rear of the property. This home is right across the road from the water. We were able to take an evening stroll along the waterfront to a small park and learn a little about a couple of historic homes in the area.
