The place was very comfy and clean besides it was near downtown and really close to a metro station which made our time worth. Richard and Robert are very kind, friendly and helpful always providing us very useful and detailed information about the city. PS . They give such a good and diverse breakfast. We truly hope to be hosted again by them in the future

Prolonged welcome and information session on arrival. Self service breakfast in a 'B&B' didnt work for us as we were on holiday but is stated as such in pre book details. As a guest and hospitality provider for 12 years ,I've never previously experienced owner prompting guests both verily and in writing to tip housekeeping staff . I suggest the suggested amount is covered in their daily pay rate. Local eateries closed Mondays or those listed as open close early.

Really comfortable ground floor place to stay ,well furnished. Direct access to delightful designer garden. Fantastic good quality Yorkshire Gold blend tea hurrah! Super convenient for metro and shopping.

My family members all think their facilities and service are friendly and even better than most 4 star hotel. We like the decoration of the room and cleanness. We like the small back yard with beautiful patio table set up and a lot of landscaping decorations. It is very enjoyable to have breakfast in the backyard with family in the morning to start our day. The room is very well maintained and has no strange smell with clean hardwood floor. Sometime even 4 star hotel with old carpet, it has badly smell and make people feel tired or dreadful. For 3 nights stay, every night when we went back, we always found the room all clean again and the food was refilled. Other than that, Robert and Richard replied my message quickly every time and gave us all useful information about food and other travel information. After pandemic this is our first time to travel outside Ontario and we have really good experience. Thanks a lot and we definitely recommend it to our friends. Next time, We will come back again if we go to Montreal in the future.

I really couldn't fault anything about our stay. There's cleaning staff everyday, every time we come back from exploring our room is always clean. The place is impeccably designed too and the location is just perfect. Its the perfect base for exploring the city. Papineau Metro Station is just a 3 minute walk away. So many restaurants around the area plus there's a supermarket nearby too. Did I mention our room is so comfortable. Its big enough for all our luggages and you have a mini fridge too. I would definitely recommend this place to all my family and friends. Robert who welcomed us was also very helpful! He really took a huge chunk of his time explaining and recommending to us the best places to explore in Montreal.

The area was pretty. The host was nice, didn’t directly talk to me, only my husband. it was a bit off putting. The beds were very hard. Every bed and breakfast I’ve been to served a hot breakfast, this didn’t. Some bread in a baggy, some muffins and oranges and apples, yogurt. Not really a breakfast. The parking is awful. It’s a shared street. Back to the bed, there were pillows but your head is against a solid piece of slab. which is a problem for a tosser and turner for me, I bumped my head lots. I put the do not disturb placard on the door if I didn’t want Service, yet it was ignored. My room was still, entered and beds made. I don’t need my bed made, if I don’t want it made. There were only 2 thin blankets, with an option of another 3 rd thin blanket. My expectation was to have comfort, there was No comfort. There is a small table with two chairs. Not that comfy. From the reviews, I read it seemed like it would be an amazing birthday vacation. Not a huge deal , I was over charged for the room than from the booking price. Not by a lot, charge should be the same.
