To many rules around the house, the ensuite has a timer for the light, no hair dryer, no creamer or milk for coffee. The location is around 8-10 min walk to the bus stop.

My only suggestion to make the experience better would be to establish a better check-in method. We arrived to check-in at 3pm and there was nobody at the property to check us in nor did we receive any instructions on booking.com. I did message the owner and I rang a few times until I eventually got an answer. Once we had the codes for the door it was easy but we were woken up at gone 10pm by the door bell of someone else trying to check in. Super simple thing to fix, send the room number and door code in a message a day prior. Easy.

Our stay was lovely. The place is immaculate and the owner is very sweet. There are signs in lots of places in the house but it makes everything clear and simple. Each room number has a cupboard in the kitchen, a shelf in the fridge and towel rail. Very tidy and very organized. I didn't find clearing the trap of any hair after my shower a big deal at all. Our room had doors that opened onto a balcony which was a lovely outdoor space. Perfect for morning coffee and an evening gin. The owner even let us hang in the lounge after check out time whilst we waited for our taxi to the airport. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The lady who welcomed us was very stressed and didnt know who we were at first. She immediately mentionned that we have to be out before 11 the next day because Others guest are coming and we didnt feel welcome at all. It was like mass processing. It felt like she just wants the Money, but doesnt like her guests. Not a nice experience😬

No stove to cook eggs, no milk provided for coffee. Only 1 bathroom for 5 people! I had to wait for 40 min to use toilet, as other family of 3 occupied bathroom, taking shower, doing hair etc!!!I eas informed that it's shared spaces for kitchen and bathroom but not 5 people 🙄

I paid around $200 for one night which is a little bit towards the higher end. It could be a little less since other 2 rooms are also booked by other guests.

Steep, narrow stairs to room. Not soundproof. Many rules made it feel like I'm intruding, but I suppose it is necessary for some people without common sense. Felt uncomfortable with leaving my shoes at the front door.

Kelly is a good owner. She keeps the apartment very clean and well-maintained. We had some issues with the additional fee requested for the kid, but overall everything was good!

Bookings.com rated this as a Queen suite with a kitchen, terrace, garden view, etc. In fact, it was NOT a Queen Suite, but a Queen room only. There are three bedrooms in Orchid House, with a shared kitchen and a some shared seating in a small living room. Each bedroom has a punch lock. Room 1 has a queen bed and ensuite bathroom. Rooms 2 and 3 share one batchroom, which backs onto the ensuite in Room 1. The whole house was very clean and organized, but I felt that the write up in Bookings.com was very misleading.

The Orchid House was very clean and organized. The bed and shower were very good. Parking was easy.
