Long drive to centre. Bunk beds difficult for oaps We were a party of 3 in a 4 bunk room and the attendant told us not to use the spare bunk as a shelf even though the room was very small and we thought we'd paid for the whole room .

I have to admit that in the bathroom, i could see that the cleanliness was cut short, but nothing unsanitary.

I like the simplicity of the facility. The parking is not easy to find tho. But honestly, i would highly recommend this place for anybody traveling quickly and wanting a quick place to sleep.

There is nothing that I actually had a problem with. Although, it would have been better if the room and the facility in general, had been more spacious. That did not actually pose a⁴ny problems for me.

I liked that the hostel was clean and quiet. I also liked that it had a kitchen that was euipped with sufficient cooking utensils to ensure that one could cook just about any meal one chose. Cooking was very important to me. Additionally, I liked the fact that the Manager Fabian, was very friendly and accomondating. He went out his way to ensure that all my needs were met.

- Check in was difficult: we didn’t receive the code to enter the building and had to wait for 20min until the host replied via booking to our calls. - Instructions for in the house (wifi e.g.) would have been nice. - Some fuses were loose.

- Recently renovated so the recent reviews are more accurate. Big improvement but still some stuff that needs to be improved. Host replied well to our feedback points. - Hostelvibe with 4 rooms and shared large kitchen and clean modern bathroom. - Free washing option available.

I got scabies from that hostel. Highly DO NOT recommend. It took me more than a month to get rid of them! Lots of money and nerves were spend after, but what most important my HEALTH! The place is CHEAP, but what you can get after does NOT worth it! Spend more-choose better!

I choose the accommodation by the name of international house hostel. Actually it is around 100 years old wooden house. Please remove the house from your list otherwise it will deteriorate the credibility of booking. com

Me and my family visited Quebec City. We booked the room for two nights but after staying one night I had to moved another place because my kids got severely bed bugs bite. I have proof if you want I can send pictures. The bed is wooden that is breeding place of bed bugs. There is only one washroom in the floor. There are 4 rooms. If up to four people live in a room 1 washroom for 10 to 16 people is not enough. Huge line up in the morning.

The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, with friendly staff who went out of their way to make sure guests felt at home. The dormitory was clean, comfortable, and well-organized, with secure lockers and cozy beds. The common areas were vibrant and perfect for meeting fellow travelers, and the kitchen facilities were well-equipped for preparing meals. Overall, great value for money, and I’d definitely stay here again!

It’s a bit far from the center and tourist attractions so you’ll need a car or use the public transport. But for a quiet base to explore the city it’s perfect.

I always stay there when I go to Quebec. The price is the most affordable and the location is alright if you want to get a quiet space, it’s also not too far from the university. The beds are comfortable and I sleep well, it’s also clean and quiet during the night to sleep. The place is well managed and safe, the staff is friendly and there are often travellers from around the world there.

esp staff, very low IQ, the person who rans the hotel us algerian lady posing as latino she doesnt speak any known language. its subsidy based on refugees come here i hate that, i want to meet locals and learn more about French people,
