Great property to chill out in after a busy day!

It was very hot but I guess that is not the property’s fault. We had difficulty finding the property but chilly it was very straight forward and on the left after Tim Horton and the school grounds. The property is set back from the main road and has small businesses within but that didn’t deter from the apartment!

Very spacious, excellent location and well equipped.

No blinds on large window in the front living area.

Amazing massive apartment which is the top floor of an entire building ! It's the largest apartment we've ever stayed in and was fully furnished with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, cinema section etc.. Plenty of space and towels, not cheap but worth it, and could sleep up to 8 people !

There are three main drawbacks to this apartment: 1. The air conditioning in the lounge works super well but is not installed elsewhere, so the bedrooms are too hot. 2. Location - it's on a busy road but very quiet, 15 minutes walk to downtown but unfortunately Nanaimo now has a big homeless problem, so the local area is not that nice. 3. Access - because it is a converted office space, the elevator opens straight into the main lounge. The keys operate the lift, not the door to the apartment, so as anyone else in the building could over-ride this, leading to some uncertainty about security. We did not have any problem but given the local area this should be tightened up to be 5* !

Our group of five included three cyclists. There was more than enough room for our bikes inside the unit. Everyone had an incredibly comfortable bed. For me, it was the best night's sleep I had over 5 days. The place is absolutely spotless.

Location

Spacious luxurious apartment, plenty of room for the family. Walking distance to the local brewery and restaurants by the water.

Beautiful suite.

Air conditioning works but not for the full suite and we were there through a heat wave.

Suite is very spacious and like new. Everything in very good condition. TV included Netflix. Easy drive into central Nanaimo for restaurants.

We stayed in July, with very hot weather outside. The air conditioning was great in the kitchen and sitting area but it was uncomfortably hot in the bedrooms since the a/c only opens into the sitting area, and the owners kept the a/c off until we arrived late that evening. Even the TV room was too hot to watch TV the first night. We opened windows and used the provided fans but the bedrooms didn't cool down the first night. The second night was much better since the a/c had been running most of that day.

Great location - walked down to the wharf and ice cream shop. Beautiful comfortable unit - better than pictures.

The kitchen was well equipped..it was great having a laundry on site as they are not always available when travelling..the location was very convenient for exploring the island..Josie was lovely checking us in..

There were no blinds on the front windows, you had no privacy especially when the lights are on..the ensuite bathroom is the same, when you use the sink near the window it is visible from the park below..there was no hand soap on the sinks we had to keep going into the shower recess to get this to wash our hands..the lights over the dining table are low be careful when leaning over the table as my husband cut his head on the glass corner..be careful of the hidden cost for cleaning $120 a day which says nothing about on the bookings website, even though no one came into do cleaning each day we just cleaned up as we went..

all facilities are comfortable!
