The receptionist at check in was very polite and had a very friendly disposition The room we rented was GREAT and SUPER clean..It had everything we needed. The Restaurant was AMAZING right on the water, super clean, friendly staff and food pretty good

The unit was a bit outdated and the sofa bed was uncomfortable but we managed. Our kitchen was small but perhaps it was simply the unit we chose.

Location was perfect. The property was well laid out and kept clean. The views on the beach were simply stunning.

I was very disappointed to see OCTOPUS on the menu! The octopus is one of the top seven most intelligent species on Earth! Please inform yourself about these awesome creatures that we humans have no right to kill and eat, and reconsider their presence on your menu.

The tropical salad and the butternut squash soup were excellent!

The room, in the annex building was musty smelling, and the carpet felt perpetually damp because of it. The wifi is laughably bad, and even the TV service was barely usable. It was a clean space but the rooms need updating, desperately especially for the price you pay. Also, the driveway into the resort could use some pavement, the lip to get in and out is atrocious, so if you have a lower vehicle beware.

Property was great. Need more staff in restaurant for breakfast. Only one person on staff beside kitchen and she had to do everything for all customers.

The rooms really need renovation — the carpets were old, damp, and smelled bad, which made the whole space feel humid. The kids' playgrounds were outdated and not very appealing. For the price we paid ($650 for two nights), we expected a higher level of comfort and cleanliness.

The location was great — close to the beach and nature. The water was warm, so we were able to enjoy an evening swim. The pool was nice, and the restaurant was surprisingly good. There was a live country singer the first night, and she sang really well. The bathroom in our room was clean.

Small upstairs room (we didn’t know that it would be steep narrow stairs, no elevator) As at out of town location, restaurant wasn’t open on the day/night we stayed, and we had no prior knowledge of this. There was no notice on the booking information or resort description. As overseas visitors we were not traveling with breakfast or dinner provisions and had expected to be able to eat at the on-site restaurant. No plates or cutlery were in the room to use, even if we had brought food with us.

The lights in the hallway outside the room we stayed in are extremely bright at night and illuminate the room through the door and window. It's far too bright for sleeping. Thank goodness we brought a blackout sheet to put over the window. But we still had to use the bed runners for the window on the door. If they were on a motion sensor, it would help a lot.

It's a very picturesque location and it's nice and quiet. Great for getting some peaceful rest. Overall I would recommend staying here. But pick one of the cottages down by the water. It will be worth the extra price. We will explore the property even more next time.

The location is awesome, outside is beautiful. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The beds and the washrooms were very clean. The drawers not as much but an easy fix, I'm sure if I would have complained someone would have immediately fixed it. Overall I was very happy with my stay , I wish dogs were allowed somewhere on the resort.if they were it would become a yearly get away.

However, the place feels a bit neglected. I booked it expecting the hot tub to be larger and located outside—not in the bathroom—as shown in the photo. The room didn’t look like the one in the pictures. The TVs didn’t work, they couldn’t connect to the internet, and there were no public channels or anything else to watch, just the sea to look at.

I liked the view of the lake, and you can tell it used to be a very beautiful place. The room was nice, and I didn’t expect it to have two levels, which was a pleasant surprise.

When we arrived, the TV in our room was not working. Staff quickly moved us to another room where everything was good. Next day however the second room's TV failed. I believe the network was satellite which can be chronically undependable when snow covers the dishes.

Restaurant served spectacular meals every dinner we ate there. Once we ate there, we kept eating there as the food was so good. The steak was so good my wife had it twice. The lamb was the best I have ever eaten, so tender that it was served with a bread knife as nothing heavier was necessary. Vegetables cooked with just the right amount tenderness.

I arrived in the dark. It is a large resort with many lodges and cottages. It was a bit difficult to locate which was my lodge. It was deserted and dark and a bit scary. My room was comfortable and quiet. The wear on the room is indicative of a summer family resort , with sand on your feet and kids playing, it's fine , it was nice to envision the happy family times there during the summer.

This was a large family room , it had a full bed, plus 2 bunk beds and an empty loft area for more sleeping. TV, lounge chairs, fridge, microwave, coffee, everything I need for a comfortable work stay. Super quiet , as I was there off season. Would be an excellent family vacay ,as it's right on lake Ontario with a nice beach. I could hear the waves crashing from my bedroom. There is a lot to do on the resort during the summer season, with restaurants, kids area's, bbq's and activities. A great get away resort .
