How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

As others have mentioned, the hotel is dated (probably 70s build), it could do with further upgrades to keep it at the standard most visitors would expect from a Marriott chain. e.g. bath rooms and room, corridors and lift vestibules. Parking would have been expensive, we went to hire a car and decided not to park at the hotel even for 1 hour due to the charges.
Free Hotel shuttle pickup was every 30 minutes and easy to find from the airport terminals. Huge hotel with lots of lobby space, restaurant was great (had dinner), Starbucks on site, small shop in hotel for snacks and other essentials plus souvenirs. Gym was excellent and air conditioned Pool was also good but felt dated, excessive space could have lent itself for a Sauna/steam room - felt like been in a pool inside a warehouse. Close to other facilities - restaurants/gas stations

The front seat required a pin for my credit card and wouldn’t accept anything except a physical credit card. That’s too poor because a week before we paid at the same desk without a PIN code

I would have preferred to stay closer to the Rogers Center, where I was attending a concert, but booking last minute, there were fewer options available. Being in close proximity to the airport made our room noisy at times, and it took longer getting to and from downtown than I'd have liked, but we enjoyed our stay, and I would recommend this hotel.
Smooth check-in, clean and comfy room, and the most comfortable bed I've slept on in years! Complimentary breakfast buffet was great, and I appreciated having a Starbucks location on-site.

check-in was difficult and no indication where the registration was. All around the building are no parking signs so you have to enter the paid parking lot and drag your luggage to the doors. There was only one bellboy trying to service some 30 people in the main hall. Instructions on how to check in and park your car in the middle of the no parking signs would be helpful

Carpet in halls, room need to be replaced. Room never dropoed below 23 c , we had it checked by maintenence...he couldnt change it..brought us a fan.

Great gym and pool for the value. Breakfast buffet was lovely. Ask staff to make you an omelette. The AC in the room was a bit loud. I'd stay again if I had to stick close to airport.

Bathtub wouldn’t drain properly so it was like I was standing in 6” of water while taking a shower.
Location close to the airport. Starbucks in the lobby and microwaves for the room.

My purse was stolen from the restaurant in the hotel and it was very difficult to get a hold of someone to discuss this with. I was not impressed with the attitude of the staff or the fact that no one seemed to care. I was given different information by staff members, which contradicted what the other had said. Very disappointed in the lack of support from the hotel team.
The breakfast was delightful with lots of variety and pleasant staff. Comfortable and clean room, excellent pool and facilities.

The kitchen of the hotel's restaurant close at 10.

The shower head was tricky to work with. Other than the shower the room was perfect.
Staff were super friendly and helpful, especially the manager Sanjay.
