Made a last minute booking after border issues and this was perfect for us to spend the night. The host was quick to welcome us, the room was unbelievable for the price, safe neighbourhood (at midnight), and all very easy.

No complaints. May have been awkward if other people had rented the other room in the basement since we would have had to share the kitchen, living area and front entrance but it also may have been fine.

great location. I didn't pay attention when booking that the kitchen and living room could be shared but no one checked into the second room so we had it all to ourselves.

It is quite far, so if you don't have a vehicle... It may be a bit troublesome. & The only other thing is that we had to leave!

Mae and her family are incredible hosts. I honestly was stunned at how quickly they attended to our needs. It's so beautiful, and the bed we had was incredible and the bathroom had everything, even extra toilet paper. It's peaceful and quiet and when someone else went in another room, we barely knew they were there.

The place is very quiet and very comfortable. Full size kitchen if you wish to cook anything. Formal dining area, In one word: exceptional.

Very nice and clean and comfy. Host made check in and check out a breeze . By far the best air bnb I’ve stayed at in Surrey and I’ve been to about all of them and this is the only one I can actually say is worth it. The place was super clean and warm and beautiful

Not a thing that I can think of!

This is my 3rd or maybe 4th time I have stayed here in this cozy and comfortable suite. It's perfect for me and I'm very happy to have found it! There is alot of privacy and if there IS another guest, which there was 2 of the stays, they have been very respectful, and stayed mostly in their own room with door closed. This is an entire 'basement' type suite with all that is needed for comfort and relaxation. Wonderful host(s) and the country setting is very peaceful. It feels as if you're 'home.' You will love it at Mae's! It's just a little slice of heaven. :)

The House is really beautiful, and the host are really nice. The neighbourhood is calm and quiet, it feels peaceful. The room is big, clean and with a great bed, and also the bathroom is big and well equiped. Even we arrived late from the airport, the checking proccess was really easy! The location was convenient for us, near the border, because we wanted to visit both Seattle and Vancouver.

I booked this room for my ex-husband and daughter. They arrived early and wanted to check in earlier than it was supposed to. I messaged Mae to ask if she could accommodate the check-in time, and she went above and beyond with our request—excellent customer service. I would recommend this place to anyone.

It’s in a lovely spot on the border between Surrey, White Rock and the USA. Also only 25 min or so from the airport. It’s a pristine property and the guest area is immaculate.

Leaf blower outside our bedroom window at 7am. No eating allowed in rooms. Not the biggest fan of shared living spaces which made me not want to spend as much time at the property.

Garden was beautiful. Location was so peaceful and relaxing. All of the locals were very friendly.

No lighting when entering stairway to basement suite at night until you’re halfway down. We found it cold in the living area and bathroom. We suggest rearranging couches so baseboard heating can be used. Bathroom heater didn’t work.

Beautifully maintained yard with interesting flowers, shrubs, pond. Very nice, clean accommodations. Bed super comfortable. Large bedroom. Large walk-in closet where I put all my clothes as I do not like digging through my suitcase every morning. Quiet. Very nice hosts. Close to my brother’s place whom we were visiting.

There was nothing I didn't like, it one of the best homes I've stayed in, I'd highly recommend it.

The accommodation was excellent, it was conveniently located to easily walk to two restaurants. Mae was very friendly & helpful. The room was spacious & clean & very quiet.
