The staff was amazing! Especially Pier, so nice and helpful. He went above and beyond to support me. The location was amazing as well. Very good breakfast in the morning.

No AC but has fans, room smells a little.

If you travel alone, I would recommend you to stay here.location is excellent, close to the sunset beach. Breakfast is not bad. Never seen a hostel provides free breakfast tho.

On the first day, I couldn’t fall asleep because I was hypersensitive, but by the second day I was able to.

The kitchen and breakfast were awesome!! I lost my glasses and the staff were very friendly and sent them back to my home after they found them. I truly appreciate their thoughtfulness and effort!

The rooms are too hot during the summer, and the breakfast is not very good. There’s no air conditioning.

The bunk beds are comfortable, and the staff is friendly. The location is good, and the place is clean.

Staff seemed to not have any suggestions for activities and sights to see in the city beyond visiting Stanley Park.

Great location near Stanley Park, beaches and Davie St on your doorstep. Granville Island and Downtown not far away either. Breakfast good and extensive.

Like all accommodation in Vancouver, hideously expensive, especially without a private bathroom

We got the last room in Vancouver at this hostel. Bed was a double, so small, but it was a comfortable mattress. Breakfast was basic but more than adequate. The area is a safe feeling neighbourhood

Rooms had not air conditioning, instead a ventilator which was too loud and was difficult to get some sleep at night. probably a bigger storage would help also

The staff was very nice, the facilities were well maintained, and the bunk beds were updated, not old or crushing, in addition each bed had its own electric point and a single lamp that worked (some hostels don’t have that), The location was excellent because it’s the affordable option in downtown. they had an elevator wich helped a lot with heavy baggage.

-No aircon. Room was an oven. If you're travelling in summer, reconsider. Was far hotter inside than outside which made for an uncomfortable sleep. I was only here 3 nights in august but I dont think I could have lasted too much longer. Maybe ask for a room on the lower floors as they could be cooler

Pros -decent location. Very walkable to davie st, sunset beach, English Bay -good value if you're thinking vancouver prices, however vancouver pricing terrible value in general -decent breakfast (boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, pancakes, toast, jam, juice, coffee) -bathrooms reasonable and clean -Lots of available tours and activities (for a price). Make sure to check the board as the staff are friendly but not as good as advertising and pepping you up as other hostels

i was happy with the breakfast. The room was nothing special but i really only was there to sleep so it suited my needs. It was clean and the bunk was comfortable enough.

your door closings are noisy - can't sneak out of your room. You can quiet the door when you're in the room closing the door. There was a mouse in my room. (I was raised on a ranch, so what)

location to things, busses, subway, etc. It was great. I was alone in my room most of the time. One girl came in to sleep about 5:00 am.

Most part of the stay was greag except for these two items. 1. The mattress wasn't comfortable and needs replacement. 2. I saw a rat in the kitchen which is a major concern with the hygiene.

The location is perfect, right in the heart of downtown. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and always stocked. The breakfast is great and very fulfilling.

One of the nicest hostels we have stayed in. It was quite expensive for a hostel, but accommodation in Vancouver does not come cheaply. The room was large and bright with a sink and towels were provided. The bathroom and toilets were shared but we knew this when we booked. Both room and facilities were very clean. Wi-fi was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. A basic breakfast (cereal, toast, yoghurt, boiled eggs, juice, hot drinks) was available free of charge. Easy walk to restaurants, bars, etc. Would recommend.

Bed was pretty hard and despite the fan in the corner it was too warm in the room for a good nights sleep but it should be noted we stayed here in July when the weather was quite hot so without AC this is unsurprising.

Easy and efficient check in, room and washrooms were clean and functional and hostel felt safe
