How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Interior Decoration felt a bit out dated and old. Could do with modernisation.

There was dishes available to use with a full size fridge and a kitchen. My favorite part was the jacuzzi after a long day.

Get rid of that brand of toilet paper. It is like using sandpaper. We told the front desk staff at checkout that the shower pressure was useless. I am sure that if they replace the shower head, it would make a big difference. The hotel had a cribs for use and that was great. However, the sheet that came with the crib was not fitted. We noticed that the sheet would bunch up and start covering the baby’s face as she slept. We took the sheet off and the baby slept directly on the mattress. Not ideal but she still slept soundly. A fitted sheet would eliminate any safety concerns.
The location was perfect. We had two rooms and both were suites with kitchenette. One room was a little bigger with a separate bedroom so the baby could sleep without interrupting our visit. The area was very comfortable and clean. The beds were fantastic. The breakfast was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Price was high but I didnt like any other choices around the area and had stayed here before.

Regular breakfast was not available due to Christmas holiday. Hilton Honors points not given as I booked through Booking.com
Consistent with other Homewood Suites I have stayed at. Facility was quiet, bed was comfortable.

Only 3 towels when they knew 7 of us were coming.

We have been here twice and each time the pool has not been available. The heating system in the room needs improvement, got cold very quickly. Good thing extra blankets were provided.

The toilet could have had a high pedestal for us seniors and a walk in shower.
The whole room was more than we expected. If we had known there was a kitchen and a refrigerator we would have brought some groceries and made our own meal.

Breakfast wasn’t very good. Potatoes were dry and tasteless. No hot eggs. No granola.

Our room was clean with the exception of a hand cloth that was still hanging on the top curtain rod in the shower.
We had a honeymoon suite and we really appreciated the layout and the axtra space. Our breakfast was excellent, there were a great selection to choose from and the fresh waffles were a nice touch

It really was a great stay. In fact, they went out of their way to make sure there were hand sanitizers everywhere, garbage bins on each floor, information readily available, wifi worked well.
Room was clean and well stocked. Surprised to have a little kitchen and sitting area…Very spacious. Quiet. All main areas were clean. Fitness room had a lot of equipment, water cooler, towels and wipes . Breakfast was plentiful and delicious . Staff were friendly and professional. Plenty of parking spots. It was a great experience. We would definitely come back should the need arise.
