I found the room dark as walls were dark and lighting low. Other than that, it was fine. We changed our original room as there are no elevators.

Clean and comfortable, and quiet. There's a restaurant pub with good food attached and did not notice any noise. Mostly families. For breakfast Tim Hortons and McDonald's are very close.

There was no mirror in the room just in bathroom which made it hard for two women getting ready in the morning.

Like that it was right on our route. The beds and room was very comfortable. Liked being able to be on ground floor no stairs. Liked that staff gave us ice when needed.

They allocated me one room on the first floor. After I carried my luggage up, realized that the room was not cleaned and still had trash everywhere. After complaining, they allocated me another room.

I was granted the quiet top floor room I asked floor, but it had only a high narrow window like a horizontal slit, straight out to the ventilation system on the pub roof. Not a problem for a one night stay, but it might have been claustrophobic for longer than that. Kind of an industrial feel to the building with heavy slamming doors, but this probably provides good security.

Easy to find with a pub offering really good food! Beside the reception is a big cold beer and wine store with snacks available as well. Warm welcome from friendly staff. The town was just a stopover for us, but we drove the few blocks to the river where there's a beautiful park--nice after an all-day drive. A very comfortable room with everything you need and no fancy embellishments. We really liked the art, local rural photos on canvas rather than typical generic prints.

The room and beds were quite comfortable We had a problem with the A/C but the staff was great and very helpful. Did everything they could to help us to make our stay enjoyable. We are quite thankful to them.

The breakfast was a bit basic!

This is an ordinary traveller's motel with an extra ordinary staff. The room was nice, the beds comfortable, the en-suite gleamed, and everyone we met were friendly, and helpful. In addition, I left a cardigan in the room, and I received a phone call to tell me about it before I even knew I had lost it, and the day after we finally got home it arrived in the mail. Now that is customer service.

Exit door was just outside our hallway. Smokers would come and go without consideration of the noisy exit door. Bathroom could have used some upgrades. Striker plate on the lock to the room needed some adjustments. Door would not always lock.

A cold breakfast had good choice of item. Cereals, fruit, yogurt and muffins. Nice variety! Beds were heavenly!! Loved them with all the pillows and comfy mattress! Had a good rest! Enjoyed the large screen TV!!

Value for the cost of the stay was not great considering there is no pool, no hottub, no workout room. The railroad is close and goes by a couple times in the night, the town is small so maybe all hotels affected by this? But it was hard to get a good sleep. Also even though all guests seemed very polite, any door opening or closing down the hall was very loud in the room, could also hear talking in the next room even though they weren't noisy, but im guessing insulation in walls is not great? Wouldve been nice if they automatically had more towels and pillows in the room, but staff were very accommodating when we asked for extra pillows.

Friendly staff and good communication, nice restaurant with good food, central location close to tim hortons, groceries, a&w and mcd's. Air conditioner in room worked well.

it needs more staff on duty. I had to unplug the air conditioner cuz the controls wouldn’t work. the shower nozel leaked and the front office door lock needs to be changed so a person can get out of it before 9am. when the worker was trying to unlock it at 9am she was having troubles getting it to unlock
