One elevator was not working. It was a very busy hotel so long waits. The stairs were easy but I would not have liked carrying my bags up them. The first night was very noisy. We asked for a quieter room, and they were very accommodating. It was quieter the next night.

Good location. Nice pool, but it was very busy. Nice to have a place to eat right inside and other choices within walking distance.

Restaurant was not open on Sunday night. Staff at check-in didn’t tell us that the airport shuttle was not starting until an hour and a half after we returned our rental car. We were under the impression that it was running 24/7.

Being lied to.

Stay was fine, some staff were fine. Location was not. I called Holiday Inn that I booked directly to confirm that I booked the right hotel as there are several in the area of Calgary.( I thought I booked close to airport) I was driving 4 hours to get the airport location. (Booking.com said 1.7km to airport from hotel). I told the agent at hotel what booking.com showed. I was told by her it was the right Holiday Inn, and I again confirmed this address a second time . Was told it's the right one. I set GPS and continued to the city. The hotel was not the right hotel . It was a lot further into the city, not the airport. Which meant I had to drive into the city at rush hour with construction everywhere. Now, this would not be an issue with most people, but I have horrible anxiety with city driving and went into full blown panic mode, the further I got into the city. My quick 5 minute drive (with the right hotel) once I made it to the city turned into 30+ mins of hell for me. I know this is not anyone's "problem" that I get anxiety, but this is why if I have to drive, I book hotels close to airports. I wish hotel staff could be honest. It wasn't the right hotel. Why couldn't she just say that instead of stealing the room from another Holiday Inn and putting me in the situation that I was in. Im not very impressed by this clerk/hotel for this reason. Honesty goes a long way, especially with me. For the aftermath of the conversation due to the missing information. I give them ZERO stars. As for everything else. It was Holiday Inn. Once I made it there, the stay was fine. All night staff at my arrival were very friendly. The shuttle bus to and from the hotel which I ended up taking instead of driving through the city, was wonderful. The drivers were very kind and I had a great conversation with them. I thank them both for their kindness.

One type of breakfast every day. Breakfast menu should be different on some days. Cleaners were invasive. Had to look for them to clean my room some of the days. Late check out time should be pro-rated for payment. A situation where you have to pay for one full night if you are to check out at 8pm should be reviewed.

Free airport shuttle is a plus. Quiet and easily accessible location. Front desk Staff were friendly. Breakfast quality was excellent.

Breakfast should be included as standard. Rooms were set to 25C, (why) when it's the end of June. I set the aircon on to 18C and the room only marginally cooled down so not very efficient air conditioning unit.

Enjoyed the pool area and gym facilities that they had. Albeit a small selection of workout equipment it was sufficient for what I needed.

No elevator from covered parking area. It's only a few stairs, but this was an annoyance. One of the elevators was not working, so that made moving around more difficult.

The service in the lounge was very good on the evening that we stayed. The food was delicious. We did not have the breakfast in the morning because we had to leave very early to catch a flight.

The elevators need fixing. Only one worked and the 2nd one was very slow. The hotel have a sign up stating that they are working on it. We took the stairs most of the time but this would be an issue for those who are less mobile. Shower could use a little more pressure but this is a tiny issue for a hotel at this price point.

Comfortable, quiet room. The staff were very accommodating and worked hard to get me an early check-in. Everyone from the restaurant staff to the front desk to the cleaning staff were pleasant and friendly and extremely helpful. It made my stay exceptional and I will stay here again when I’m next in town!

The scum line around the pool really needs to be cleaned, and the staff in the bar downstairs was quite slow. We were the only people in the restaurant, we could see the drinks sitting on the bar, and it took fifteen minutes for her to bring them to us. Since we had just wanted a quick drink before we left for the wedding we were attending, it made us have to rush.

I liked the room and the beds, and the way we could control the AC unit.

Other people on the same floor were constantly in and out of their rooms, talking in the hallway til midnight. I had an early wake up time for an early flight and was kept awake.

Only one operating elevator. The soda vending machine sounded like it was working and dropping the can of soda, but non came out. The room with the two Queen bed’s we reserved was having a problem, but they gave us a room with one king bed. Not great when I had to share this with my teen granddaughter. Unfortunately the swimming pool was not ready for use. Like the second elevator, still undergoing upgrades.

Location is near family we visit, the hotel is very clean and everyone working there is nice, friendly and helpful. The staff gave us free breakfast vouchers because the room we wanted was not available and helped me order in a pizza one night for my granddaughter when I had to leave for a concert. Housekeeping staff was very kind.
