How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Breakfast ends too early (9:30am) and could be better.
The room was nice and a good size. Bed was comfortable. Staff are accommodating and friendly. Pool is nice. Breakfast area is large and very clean.

Our rooms shower did not drain- we had to stop our showers 3-4 times for water to drain,it was painful. We were also checked out of our room a day early. So we came back from being out, to deactivated keycards and having to do the whole check in process again. Room was clean but lacked supply of tissues and toilet paper. Had to ask for clean towels at the pool, all were dirty and not restocked.
The location is great, breakfast area is nice and pool was clean.

The pool had a lot of chlorine! The odour was very strong! For those of us who did not enter the pool, our eyes were very irritated and watering.
The pool with the slide was a nice feature and a key factor in our choice. Rooms were nice and clean as well as well appointed. Breakfast was good.

We had no cable TV. (There was no coax cable from the wall to the tv). The front desk staff offered to move us to another room but we were on the way out for the evening and it wasn’t convenient). The lady advised that she would give us a discount on the room for our inconvenience. I checked my MasterCard the next day and there was no discount.
We liked the location, price was fair, clean rooms. Didn’t have breakfast. We had other arrangements

The bathroom was a bit dated and we attempted to utilize the laundry facilities, however, after 2 attempts with the dryer and our clothing still being quite wet, we had to pack it up and take it to a local laundry mat to dry. I did mention the dryer not working to the front desk staff and can't comment on if it has been repaired or not.
We stayed for a single night. The location was easy to reach via car and had plenty of parking available. The room was clean and the hotel staff were friendly and approachable. The breakfast options available were great!

Desk clerk wouldn't issue a room receipt and said that Booking.com would give us the receipt . Since we had paid at the hotel, I knew that wasn't true. However. she refused to give us a receipt .
Excellent breakfast included and a good location .

Definitely the temperature in the swimming pool - both room and water. Our son literally turned blue and was shivering after a few minutes, and we had to leave. Maybe complimentary swimming pool slippers would have been the extra touch that other same-priced hotels offer.
Clean, spacious rooms. Good breakfast buffet. Good parking. Great view. Quietness.

Booking groups of kids roaming every hallway. Late at night. Using luggage cart as race cars. Need firm rules for large groups of children. As well as setting upper floors for regular guests would be nice with the little thumpers down lower floors
Beds are very comfortable, quick ck in. Desk attendant did try to handle noise complaints but unable due to lack of children supervision..

The cleaning lady while cleaning the room, next door. Used the security latch to keep the door fro closing all the way so it kept banging every time she came to her cart

Paper plates and plastic forks and knives for breakfast…seriously, this is a first in all my travels. This is disgraceful for the Holiday Inn. This is not a backyard BBQ party. The cutlery was so flimsy I could not cut my pancake. Not to mention the piles of waste from single use plastics every single day. Quality and selection of breakfast was very basic, should have skipped it altogether.
Comfortable beds and good quality bedding, convenient location off the highway, good staff.
