Could have more toilets, larger bathrooms

The hotel was cleaner than I expected. I could also join the jail tour for free, which was very interesting.

Very clean and good location. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

They did not have many activities for the hostel to get together and get to know people. It is definitely not a youth hostel but a family hostel.

Very interesting place, well designed with the exception of common areas (see below). Nice enough breakfast. Attentive staff. Ariele’s Pub Crawl and Simon’s Jail tour highly recommended.

Lots of showers, not nearly enough toilets. The tiny AC window unit did a dismal job of cooling the room with 8 warm bodies in it. The common area is the dining room, just tables and chairs. No music, only two comfortable sofas (around the tv), and just no vibe. An easy fix for the hostel, and I encourage them to do so.

Location is unbeatable. Great value for a comfortable stay with yummy breakfast included. The guided tour was a special highlight: Simon was an exceptional guide and made it so enjoyable.

1. The Mandarin speaking male guest who spoke on the phone loudly after midnight on the 6th floor. 2. No garbage bin in the shower room.

Location was right in the downtown, easy access to the city and major attractions, rooms were clean and place was well-maintained.

Too much parking charges

The location, the jail tour and the breakfast were fabulous! Really friendly staff and the actual experience is really cool!

There's a give and take staying here. They've kept things super original so if youre in the cell rooms the doors are just bars at the top and bottom, so sound and light are a bit of an issue.

Good experience in an interesting and unusual location. Very clean and located close to many restaurants and bars.

Didn’t get the best sleep due to lights and noise from outside, but it’s all part of the experience.

I have ordered a late checkout for 2 PM as I had an appointment on the day of and didn’t want to drag all my stuff with me to my appointment. I verified with the receptionist the night before whether my order went through and he confirmed that both the late checkout order and payment were already processed. However, the staff the next day was apparently not informed of this, thus they knocked on my door at 11:30 AM asking why I had not checked out yet when checkout was supposed to be done at 11 AM. Not a big deal really but given that I paid extra for the service, I expected not to be rushed the next day.
