    We liked the hot tub, the beach, and the suite was large enough to comfortably host a group of people.

    We were told by the host there were professional cleaners who clean this suite and I believe part of our cost included cleaning fees. Unfortunately, the suite was very dirty (ie dust, dirty utensils and plates, dirty pots, dirty stove, carpet, used cork in the bottle opener still). There were a lot of rules but many of it was unclear. The rules were either different from what we read versus what the host told us, or the rules were scattered in writing all over the property and you would only know if you really tried to look for it. It would have been much more helpful to have ALL the rules for everything we were expected to follow written in 1 policy manual and preferably in a digital format that can be sent to every guest with ease and without any confusion. The most disappointing was essentially being told we couldn't make any sort of noise whatsoever. It was daytime when we were in the parking lot unloading a kayak to use at the beach, which we knew there were kayak rentals available and assumed that kayaking and other water sports were welcomed at this location. An assistant came out of the yurt and told the guests who were unloading the kayak that they were not allowed to make noise. All they were doing were talking at a decently low volume (no one could hear them in the suite at least) and unloading kayaks. They felt so uncomfortable they drove onto the road to reload the kayak when they were done. Another guest went outside to speak on the phone. Again, was not speaking loudly but another woman (not sure if this was the same assistant who introduced herself to the other guests) came out to stare at the guest speaking quietly on the phone. This is unacceptable behavior from a staff to be honest. We would have liked to have spoken with management at this point but the office in the front always seemed to be closed.

    Hi Ming, Thank you for your feedback and we are so sorry you had some issue on your stay. I was able to follow up our staff so I can now address all your issues. The person who was asking for the loud banging of the kayaks to be a little quieter was the owner Jenn. She was just finishing a massage and realized your group was unloading the kayaks in the wrong driveway and let the group know kayaks are unloaded down at the beach. She in no way was meaning for you to be quiet on your stay and was actually trying to serve her massage client and serve your group in giving you the right info about the kayaks, and asking for the loud banging of the kayaks on the cement to stop as it was disturbing her massage client. I checked with the cleaners about dust and some dirty dishes and they did mention that the dishwasher had been not cleaning properly. We have now replace it with a new one and they have increased their dusting time. Both of our cleaners have over 20 years experience and follow the Air BnB 30 page cleaning guideline and have never had any complaints before and have been with us over 10 years now. Thank you for the feedback on the digital check in package. We do provide a full instruction manual in the kitchen drawer and will add our digital package to Booking.com We have a full digital package we use with Air BnB so will add it to the check in details. We really appreciate the feedback as in 20 years we have maintained a Super Host status of 4.8 stars out of 5 on Air BnB, we have only had a a few poor reviews and it is because of your feedback we can continue grow and improve.

    The cottage is very spacious and well equipped, it is so close to the beach and the view is stunning. The host ia very nice and gentle.

    Nothing much we don’t like. May be better to have cleaner carpets.

    The location was amazing. It was idyllic and peaceful, located right on the beach. The house was well equipped, so clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay.
