How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Being accused of making a complaint regarding the check in, which I didn't make, along with the neighbors fighting all night.
The room was clean and bed comfortable. Only issue was on the 2nd night our neighbors kept us up all night with their drinking and fighting, the whole night. Our last night was good and quiet because they had checked out. One other side note, I had requested an accessible shower and when we checked in, the front desk had told me that the only accessible room was a queen bed (we had a king room). I told them I'd make due in the king room. Later they called because someone had made a complaint on the accessible room and they had a problem with check in, and the front desk said it was me, which it wasn't. They had switched the queen bed to the king bed just for me and said that they had told the cleaning staff to tell us and that they had been trying to call me, which I received no messages, nor did the cleaning staff inform me. Grama's inn does its best to accommodate the patron, as shown by them moving the king bed to accommodate the complaint. As I did not make the complaint and I had no idea they were doing the change, we stayed in the original room.

Too expensive. Did not eat here. If Grama's is advertising breakfast included, not true. You will have to pay extra. We went to Tim Hortons.

One of the rooms smelled like weed but they changed it right away. Some of the staff at the restaurant might be too eccentric for some of the people.

We usually had breakfast at Grama’s kitchen. The meals were great and the waitresses were excellent-humorous, courteous, cheerful . It was close to all the places we were going.

That it didn't have a smart TV,so I could watch some Netflix .
It had basically had all you need . It was close to some restaurants. Also , I left a ring there,and they're mailing it back to me. Thanks!

Breakfast in Grama’s Kitchen was very good. We liked the table in the room with the 2 upholstered upright chairs that were great while snacking yet equally comfortable for relaxing. Our car was parked right outside our door and window which was handy, both for unloading/loading and for checking on the vehicle’s security. Our room was pet-friendly and comfortable and safe with grab bars in the tub enclosure. Grama’s inn is centrally located on a main highway through the city and exits to a frontage road with easy access to the highway.

Room was attended to after first night, clean towels put in bathroom, but bed was not made. Coffee cups weren’t washed nor was the coffee refilled. Not bad, just strange.
Breakfast was great, service was awesome. Very friendly wait staff.

When I went to check in, my booking was not there. Thankfully they had a room for us. I had to show my confirmation email but the lovely lady at the counter was unable to find my reservation. She was outstanding.

A rather drab office and not particularly friendly fellow at the desk…
The breakfast was wonderful….just a little expensive The room above the office facing the front was very nicely furnished and clean. Because you had to go through two locked doors we felt a bit safer than we would have in a regular motel unit.
