For me the road was a little noisy but I’m a very light sleeper!

We were so impressed with the Inn. The town itself could use more restaurants or cafes.

The Inn was beautiful and the staff very attentive and knowledgeable of the area. The breakfast was first class and delicious. The rooms were all spacious. Most rooms having not only a shower but also clawfoot tubs. The whole place was spotless. Lots of place to just unwind or have a tea. Will definitely be recommending to my friends.

It would be nice to have an extension cord with outlets next to the bed.

Gorgeous Inn and property. Breakfast was so yummy. Fresh scones, homemade jams, great egg dishes. Every room in the Inn is a delight with a beautiful wrap around porch overlooking a perfectly manicured landscape. It was fall so the leaves were brilliant on the massive trees surrounding the Inn. Very close to restaurants and a short jaunt to see the unparalleled Fundy view. We would definitely stay here again.

The candles that wouldn't go off at night. Need more towel racks in the bathroom. Stairs were challenging for my friend.

We had to do a lot of driving to go to Halifax a few times but we liked the Gillespie House so much it really didn't matter.

Muffins were excellent!!! We liked the menu. The facility and grounds were immaculate.

Loved everything about the Gillespie House Inn! The newly-updated inn is so peaceful, surrounded by beautiful grounds. The owner and the staff are top-notch in hospitality, and the breakfast is delicious. I highly recommend.

Just noting there are steep steps going up to second floor, if that is a concern for folks.

Gorgeous inn on stunning property. Lots of spots to sit and enjoy the porch, the gardens or the lovely rooms downstairs. Jan welcomed us with generous hospitality. Our room was so comfortable and nicely decorated. Lisa, the innkeeper, was a delight as well.

We happened to be there during a heat wave, and there was no air conditioning, but we got a decent cross-breeze and slept well.

The inn was beautiful and the staff were very welcoming. They served an elegant breakfast.

I’ve got nothing.

The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable and had a luxurious feel. I wish we could have spent more time. We enjoyed lounging on the porch. It was our sanctuary during a busy travel week. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. They thought of everything including a mini coffee bar and refrigerator for anytime access. Breakfast was gourmet and beautifully presented. You’ll be glad you booked this location.
