No air conditioning. We arrived in a hot room, drapes were open, so the sun was shining in. There was a small plug-in fan and a ceiling fan, but they only moved hot air around the room. Slept with the balcony door open, which brought some relief. The continental breakfast was great (apple, oatmeal with nuts and seeds) however the other items were too sweet for my liking (cranberry orange muffin, Activia yogurt, raspberry jam syrup thing which I didn't think was necessary)

Close to the ferry, great place to swim out front at the beach, great view from the balcony, heron fishing, watching ferries go by and the tides was very pleasant.

Beautiful spot right on the beach. Loved the balcony facing the water. Comfy beds, lots of hot water and awesome continental breakfast. Great pizza place, wished it was open until 8 though.

- The shower products weren’t nice/luxurious, and no lotion or bath supplement was provided despite the beautiful bathtub. Expected more given that this hotel has a spa. - Hot tub wasn’t open during my stay (though it did look nice, overlooks the water) - Breakfast situation: they offer a breakfast basket (Muffin, yoghurt, granola, and apple) that you can pick up either around dinner time at the restaurant or grab after 9AM from the lobby. I would prefer a “real” breakfast offering, especially because there is a restaurant on site. However, the breakfast basket IS complimentary- which is a big bonus that I am sure many will appreciate. - Very cold floors in ground floor room, bring slippers - Noise: You can hear every movement of upstairs neighbors, I’d ask for a room on the 2nd floor next time

- outdoor space with seating for each room - Peaceful areas to read, e.g. lounge chairs and a pergola overlooking the water - Large rooms, especially bathroom- big tub - Kettle and microwave in room, but no utensils and plates (assuming they would be available if you call) - Seating area in hotel room - Very friendly staff - Beautiful view in restaurant (pricey for food quality) and very convenient to have dinner option on the island - Wonderful garden - Great location- next to ferry terminal so also easy for foot passengers and close to several cafes. Offer rental cars (Smart cars) for those who didn’t bring their car - Big parking lot - Large library with some games as well available to guests

Absolutely stunning view! This cozy, small hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort and charm. The friendly personnel made our stay even more enjoyable. The SPA facilities were exceptional, featuring a relaxing massage, the cleanest steam room, and a hot tub with an ocean view. Highly recommended!

The fan in the room didn't work to circulate heat.

Door opened and closed with difficulty. No firewood provided for the first night ($300 a night off-season) and it's $25 to purchase. Firewood sells for $10 a bundle at a nearby corner store. The room had a mini-fridge and microwave, but no plates or cutlery. Toilet seat is not comfort height.

Terrific location and view. King size bed a plus. Continental breakfast available and self-serve coffee fixings.

A brief orientation upon check in would have really helped us. Info up front about the onsite restaurants/hours, spa, hot tub, yoga studio, housekeeping, etc. It was a little confusing and would have helped us out to get that info up front.

Nothing to complain about here!

The property is on the water with a little path down to a cute beach. We watched the ferry come in from the lawn in front of our room. Rooms were basic and clean. After reading other reviews we were very worried about what it would be like. We were very happy with the cleanliness and the water in the rooms was clean out of the taps. The food in the restaurant was good. There were 6 of us in 3 rooms and all of us said we would definitely come back.

Please provide More towels, basic supplies in the kitchen ( eg oil, vinegar, foil) would be helpful and are expected for a kitchen . I also was surprised to learn there was no maid service in the room. When paying hotel rates one would expect that service.

Beautiful location and generally fine overall, but for the price paid the property and suites are getting a bit worn, and in need of some love and attention. Hot tub was out of order, faucet in bathroom tub leaked onto floor, jets in tub weren't working, bathroom exhaust fan didn't work, weather stripping on patio door was torn, landscaping needed some care, no bed making maid service, and the breakfast basket was also rather underwhelming. First world complaints for sure, but for the price paid these are little things that add up and are noticed.

The location is wonderful and the dinner at Atravida restaurant was exceptional
