The pool was not open and staff would say "tomorrow" will be open. And naturally it wasn't. Again they would say "tomorrow" will be open. Never happened.

The tap in bathroom was a little clunky, I was scared that it would fall off. Also it sometimes did not close fully. AC was very loud and it was turning on very often, I had to turn it off.

Nice and comfortable, great bed, great service at the room and at the reception. I really like the USB-A charging hole, since I got stuck in Toronto without my outlet adapters.

Parking charges at $28/night was not disclosed when booking for this hotel We did discovered street parking infront of the hotel was absolutely free of charge, only after paying for 3 day parking

Double dip charging. Ok to put an C$80 hold on a card, but to find out they have actually taken the money three days prior and have the gaul to not deduct that from the actual agreed tariff on checkout - but to charge the entire quoted sum plus taxes. When challenged they said “oh it’s just been released but might take 3-5 days to go back to your bank”… This messes with currency wallet management in my card while transmitting. Dubious practice. They say it’s standard. 9 weeks in Canada and Europe 2024 a hold was just that, and cleared real time. Marriott - think again.

Unfortunately the pillows were horrible. Almost like stone. Plus there was a girls hockey team above us and on the same floor. Very very noisy. Rather outdated hotel. Not even a restaurant. The sink dripped all night. Hair all over the tub when we got there.

We could not stay here because a municipal group unexpectedly booked for a longer stay; however they arranged for us to stay at a nearby hotel which was quite comfortable and a good location.

The noisey people on our floor talking loudly at 2.00am when we had not long arrived and needed to sleep.

The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great. The shuttle bus was handy.

Breakfast facilities were confusing. Used to restaurant style setting, rather than ordering from Starbucks.

Handy airport shuttle. Good location for airport. Room sizes and staff were great. Great communication from hotel regarding hotel move due to local government event.
