Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe hotel didn’t feel luxury at all, they tried to upsell you as soon as you arrived. The hotel is massive and yet only had one elevator for the floor we were on which serviced about 15 floors so you waited ages for it to come every time. The lobby is chaotic and so is breakfast!
The view from our room was great. You also got a free drinks voucher and snacks too.

United KingdomI booked two rooms and requested for close rooms as I have kids but staff said they could not find another bookings though I booked with one single booking. They gave me two rooms in different floors and I had to buy upgraded rooms to stay close and paid over 500 USD plus taxes to stay close. Very unprofessional.

BelgiumThe breakfast was terrible. Super crowded, disorganized. The good itself was really bad and low quality. And you are asked to put away the dishes and put the uneaten rests in the trash yourself. Really not what you’d expect from Embassy Suites

CanadaThe breakfast was horrible! Over crowded! We had to have breakfast in one of the conference venues downstairs. They didnt even have cream cheese for breakfast!!! It was my grandma’s 90th birthday and considering the price, we really didnt get what we were expected
The staff were amazing. They could upgraded our room for a fee.

United StatesFor the price i expect more in the room than just 6 beds. I was told 4 beds and a living room, when I was asked to upgrade. Did not want to waste time at the front desk more than i had too.

CanadaThe breakfast item was minimal. Instead of pork sausages, chicken or beef sausages would be better options for all religious clients.
Everything was perfect and excellent. Enjoyed the locations and the view. The staff were so helpful and amicable. I would love to recommend my friends to book this hotel if possible. I loved every facility that I had and expected.

CanadaThe breakfast served was pathetic as if it was given free of cost. In other Hiltons and other hotels the breakfast is always well organized and all items are there for the guests to eat and enjoy. Here it was all served in bulk with paper cups and eggs served to general public and no fried eggs with jam, bacon or any other meats were surely missing. Please improve upon this
Overall the stay at the Hilton was good but not as we had expected to be great like all Hilton hotels we stay around the globe.

Canada1) Given its location the hotel can give at least a one time round-trip pass for the Falls Incline Railway as a complementary gift to the guests. 2) Parking related info were very minimal on the website. Offsite parking location wasn't disclosed for unknown reasons. People need this info to plan their visits and make their parking choices! 3) Parking charges are very high (onsite) 4) No snacks or drinks provided in the unit, fridge was empty! Not even a bottle of water!! 5) Bath tub wasn't draining well. 6) Breakfast non-veg meal options aren't enough. Also breakfast time needs to be extended at least until 10am. 7) Intercom to the Front Desk wasn't working.
Great location and view!!

CuraçaoRate per night is high and not even water in the room. Pressured to upgrade by telling guests that their current room has a bad view of the falls and the fireworks. Upgrade rate was explained to be for the whole stay, turned out it was per night. The confusion between US$ and CA$ made me not realize this right away. Tried to charge us for internet while free wifi was advertised. After making a remark about it we got the passcode. Breakfast experience was negative. You have to put an alarm and come downstairs at 6.30 am to avoid the long lines. I was here in 2018 and nothing changed regarding this matter as back then there were also long lines in the morning. Happy Hour was not worth it. Parking was very expensive.
Location, room was big (but outdated), amazing views.

United StatesWhen we arrive there, we upgraded our room and I was told I would get a certain view of both the American and the Canadian side and a PERFECT view of the fireworks. When we got up to the room, we realized it was just the Canadian side so we were sold something completely wrong from what the staff told us we were upgrading to. We then ate on property because we wanted to see the fireworks from our room as we were told. It was the perfect view. Only to get a view of the fireworks and a reflection of the hotel next to us. We ended up missing fireworks both days because of this, even after paying for the Upgrade. I felt very misled, considering the cost difference. Both of my boys heard him give us the explanation on the room and was the reason why we upgraded to it. He attempted to make it right, but we had to pack up our room after already unpacking it and then they were going to transfer all of our stuff the next day to go to said room. They attempted to make it right by camping our valet, but we still missed the one thing the boys were excited about at night time which was the fireworks. However, the staff by the elevators and during breakfast were phenomenal. They were the best part of our stay.
