The apartment was located a few minutes from the ferry terminal and had a wonderful location overlooking the waterfront. Our room windows and outdoor decking where we could sit-out and relax provided amazing uninterrupted views across the sound and the the mountains beyond. The apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean, had a very comfortable bed.and was tastefully furnished. We also had the benefit of a fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee maker. Breakfast was provided on a tray and was a was a combination of yogurt, fresh fruit, granola, fresh cookies and a cake - it was delicious and very thoughfully presented.

I didn’t like the extra 50.00 charged by booking.com that was a bad surprise, would have preferred to book directly with them it said no extra charges but after all fees it was an extra 100.00 Expensive night

Delicious breakfasts, great view, comfy bed, good amenities, peaceful. We had also told the hosts we were away for our anniversary and they left us a really sweet and thoughtful basket of goodies. We loved our stay :)

Room and deck smelled like Marijuana a bit.

Beautiful view. Staff was very responsive to e-mail, really good breakfast. Nice to have netflix in the room. Overall very good for a short stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Orca View. I stayed with my wife in a room with a breathtaking view, it was clean, cozy, and comfortable. To be honest, as a Turkish family living in Canada, we didn’t expect much from the breakfast, but it turned out to be unexpectedly delicious! The only potential downside is that the rooms are quite close to each other, which might make you a bit more concerned about noise or disruption. That said, we were lucky and all the guests were very respectful. I would absolutely return and stay at Orca View again.

Signage was confusing as well as where we were to go to locate our room. Smell of marijuana was pervasive, we had to air out the room.

Beautiful location. Quiet and pretty easy access. Breakfast was great: fresh fruit, yoghurt, homemade granola with muffins. Lovely to sit out in the deck and enjoy the landscape. Bed very comfortable.

Loved the view from our room and the deck we shared with another couple. We saw two orca whales swimming near the opposite shore. They had binoculars available for each room to use. The room has a strange odor to it. The breakfast was good that came with the room. The room itself was a reasonable size but seemed a bit dated. The ottoman for a chair in the room has rips in the leather but the room was otherwise clean and quite serviceable. Access to the rooms was a bit difficult going down gravel paths and makeshift stairs. The railings for the stairs they had weren't proper railings. I was worried I would get splinters from the wood. The deck in front of our unit was quite large but was shared. The railing was very thick and the same material as the handrails at the stairs going down. It was a bit awkward as the railing was at eye level when seated on the deck. If you want to see things you just have to stand up. But the view was spectacular when you were on the deck. Generally I would recommend it just for the view.
