How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

too expensive for the "suite" very small for 400 + a nite gymnastics competition at the hotel - no peace and quiet gymnasts, parents ran the whole hotel all night very disappointing for the money paid expecting quiet

I was expecting the gym to have better equipment. The universal machine is old and not so functional. Happy that the gym was well stocked with water bottles but a water fountain would have been more environmentally friendly. On a Sunday, the restaurant ran out of hollandaise sauce for my benny and wished they would have somewhat creative to come up with a substitute.
Clean, friendly and helpful staff at the reception and at the restaurant. The king bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Happy they had a smart TV with Netflix available to watch movies on a rainy day. The restaurant is modern, has a nice decor, good options for breakfast and great friendly staff.

We paid for a suite to accommodate three adults, sure someone had to sleep on the sofa which is expected but the sofa mattress was so uncomfortable my son could feel the springs digging in his back! We informed the hotel & asked them to simply put a mattress topper but they gave us instead a mattress protector! How much of an investment to have a few mattress toppers for people staying 8 nights!! Very disappointing
Bar Mason staff & food was the highlight of our stay and it is in a good location suitable to us as a family!

I feel the front desk staff should greet you and make eye contact when approaching the front desk or even when walking by. I was served by Jeff who was pleasant but seemed distracted when ringing up my items from the convenience store. Seemed like he could have been reading his emails. When asked about the cost of parking, he told me the prices form Sunday to Thursday. But seemed annoyed when asked about the parking for Friday and Saturday. Again, it could just be me but this is based on perception. Nice to hear it's complimentary parking on those days☺ Weird to find out no swimming for 12 and under because of the contract you have with Movati. Kids were disappointed but great for me as I didn't have to wash their hair lol. We ended up going to Blue Mountain beach so that compensated things.
Cafe Mason was awesome. I understand sit in for breakfast closes at 11am but providing the option for take out is helpful.

Suite wasn’t overly big and hotel was very busy- hard to get an elevator and I was in a wedding dress on 6th floor trying to get to my wedding

Room - we were given a room with 1 king bed and a pull-out sofa for 2 adults and a teenager. The mattress on the pull-out bed was so thin that the springs on the bed poked from under the mattress. We ended up putting the mattress on the floor. So, we paid for a room to end up having my teen sleep on the floor for a week.

Wished there was a business center where I could quietly get some work done
Breakfast and bar were great! Glad Osmow’s was walking distanced and closes at midnight; Ice cream sandwiches in the lobby canteen were a bonus :)

A few challenges to get the smart tv setup but finally got it done.

Rooms were stuffy even when we cooled the room down and the restaurant didn’t have a lot of breakfast options. Wish there was a pool / hot tub but that’s ok!
