Other unit toilet was very close to our room and we could hear EVERYTHING like people were beside us in our room. Personal television that was advertised was not supplied. Personal bathroom off shard lounge had no lock.

Upscale facilities and a comfortable bed. The owner was very friendly and responded quickly via the booking App (We never met in person).

The guest rooms are located in the basement of an elegant family home, but unfortunately, they lack any outside views. While the facilities are high-quality, the rooms themselves feel a bit bare in terms of decoration. Although our bedroom had an ensuite bathroom, we were asked to use a different one across the communal area, which was unexpected. Adding to the discomfort, we often heard people passing through the basement to do laundry or use the ensuite bathroom attached to our room, which had a second door from another side. This created a lot of noise and woke us up early in the mornings. The basement was also quite cold when we arrived, but the owners were helpful and resolved the heating issue. After two nights, the space became comfortably warm. Overall, the place had a somewhat unusual atmosphere.

I liked the comfortable bed and the amazing bathroom.

The $65 mandatory cleaning fee when I left zero mess, only stayed one night and was asked to take out my own garbage. No milk provided for the coffee. I was straight off the plane after 18 hours travel so didn’t have groceries and no shop nearby therefore milk would have been appreciated. I wasn’t greeted by host, didn’t have her number and my email reply bounced back as I couldn’t response to booking .com’s email.

The room was quite large and the bathroom assigned to me was the largest I’ve ever had with a really fantastic shower.

There were not so many eateries in the area but there was a convenience store close by, which I could use.

The bathroom which was awesome was not adjacent or within the bedroom.

The place was spacious, quiet, and cozy as they advertised. Plus, Peter was attentive and helpful every time we contacted him to ask questions. We were pleased with our stay there. bed was spacious and the modern toilet exceeded my expectations.

The place was cold in general, especially the bathroom. We didn't have robes to use to get out of the bathroom after a shower. I am glad there were no other guests in the house at the time we were there cause I was getting out of the bathroom just wrapped in a towel. That was not very convenient, or comfortable. Also, there were no rugs anywhere in that cold bathroom and bedroom.

The washroom and bedroom were exceptionally comfortable and quiet.

It was at times uncomfortable sharing the space with a woman who lives in the basement fulltime. This was not described in the ad.

Would have liked larger cups/mugs. A minor thing I know but I we like a nice larger cup.

The suite itself was fancy. It was clean.

On the first night, we arrived back at the suite at 1 AM from supper and drinks. We were in our room chatting with each other when a lady came down the stairs to our door with two pillows in her hand. She was speaking to us in her language which we did not understand whatsoever. She spoke no English but was getting quite adamant about whatever she was trying to tell us. Eventually, she set the pillows down and went back upstairs. About a minute later, she came back down and said something else to us, then went into suite B which was previously empty with the keys on the door. She never went back upstairs. The next few days were just strange. We would notice the one lady peeking at us from around the corner, or into the bathroom or our bedroom whenever we did not have the door shut. It was a very eerie feeling, especially since there was no way for us to communicate with them. We took a few photos of each other outside of the door of the suite in front of the wall and as we were going through them later that day we noticed that the lady was standing above us on the balcony peering over us and watching us. On the morning that I left, I was alone because my friend caught an early flight. I was packing my things up and kind of struggling to get my packing cube zipper up. The lady must have been watching me and came into the room and started assisting me get it closed. I obviously took the help because it would have been hard and awkward for me to say no and I just wanted to leave as smoothly as possible since I didn’t feel completely safe. She then stood in my doorway and spoke more to me in her language which I didn’t understand. Eventually she left and I finished packing up my stuff. When I was in the kitchen filling up my water bottle before I left, she started talking to me again in her language. I pulled out my phone so that she could speak into it and what she spoke translated to “what should I name you?” while she was looking at me laughing.

Our stay was very comfortable and easy access to locations. It was quiet as well, very good communication with host and fast responses!! Really enjoyed our stay there!!

Its good location, quiet street, next to botanical garden. Botanical garden has restaurants. Bus stop to city center is 2 min away from the house. House is new and clean. Bed is big and comfortable. Owners were polite and communication was easy.

Description of place was confusing, photos are accurate though, but be aware bathroom is situated in the common shared area, its not connected with the room. Accomodation is in the basement of the house, separate entry, but owners use indoor stairs and elevator to access the basement few times a day as loundry room is next to the rental room. Kitchen area and pool table is shared with lady who lives in the basement next to the rental room and doesn't speak English. So from very quiet space it can get to very loud sometimes, when washing machine and dryer work, or someone taking shower, or people from the house come and talk with lady in the basement.
