Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Comfortable beds , great transport links to downtown Vancouver. Although it’s expensive for a budget hotel, it was good value for the expensive Vancouver accommodation market.

The location is pretty good if you have a car. It is near the bus stops though. All was great except the air conditioning was too loud to sleep with. We turned it off to sleep as it is loud (due to old equipment), but had to turn it on once to cool down. I felt it wasn’t safe enough to open the window at night as it is facing the hallway. Considering it was a high peak season, the price was one of the lowest compared to the downtown prices which is why we stayed. I chose the hotel for the price this time. One night is probably okay to continue your journey!

CanadaIt was a little old, but we weren’t expecting a brand new facility - we wished there were screens on the windows so we could leave them open more - the ventilation wasn’t very great. The bathtub/shower was small for me but I’m a large guy, it fit my wife just fine.
It was very close to the Capilano Suspension bridge and easy to get to Lynn Canyon and other places. I appreciated the coffee and included breakfast, and the TVs were nice as well.
