Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesI’m a disabled individual with ALS so I need a shower that allows me to shower with some help. My wife and I have stayed at your hotel many times. The best of our stay has been the view of the inner harbor. Your disability rooms are all on the other side of the building.

CanadaFabulous view of the very active harbour and city. The room was large, clean and the the king size bed very comfortable. Unfortunately employees were on strike, therefore the restaurants were closed, however they managed to provide a continental breakfast with coffee, fruits and muffins.

United StatesNothing really. It’s a pretty great place for a family or just a getaway if I were to go back with my husband.
It was a nicely renovated property. The rooms were very nice with modern finishes. My kids got a kick out of the bidet. They have a fantastic shuttle service they offer to and from downtown for free. The driver Reid was fantastic and helpful. I suggest tipping of course- it is a service. We used it often when our kids were tired from walking as we had already rented bikes for 3 days and our kids didn’t want to bike anymore. It was also great to get to and from dinner instead of getting an Uber or Lift. The pool is heated and is both indoors and out. There is a nice area by the pool to sit and see the marina. We took the pathway upstairs along the marina - there is a large chess set my kids enjoyed & the gardens are beautiful in the summer. We were there in late July. There is a little Fisherman’s Wharf nearby with restaurants for more food options. It was a couple minute walk. It was less expensive than the hotel food and there are cute floating homes. There is also ice cream.

United StatesGiven that a strike was going on, I must say that the employees who stepped into the vacant roles were wonderful. The accountant who checked us in was incredible and tired! I look forward to when both elevators are working that would certainly help with wait times. And I missed being able to eat the delicious food that your restaurant is known for. It is too bad that it was closed during out stay.

United StatesOnly one elevator was working during our 2 day stay. And on our final day we couldn’t get breakfast at their restaurant because there was a strike going on. They did provide a little continental breakfast but not what we wanted.
The view was spectacular! Everything you needed was within walking distance. The water taxis have a pick up/drop off right there. You have a Whale watching tour right below. The room was beautiful and clean.

CanadaThis room had a connecting door to the next room. There is no sound proofing between the 2 doors so I was able to hear the use of the microwave, cutlery being placed on the counter, walking around and conversations. Every word. The massage chair is operated by a remote. The only problem is, if the person in the next room is pointing their remote towards your chair, your chair will recline. This was resolved by turning the power off to my chair.
View was good, it was a corner room with a wrap around balcony with sliding glass doors to either side of the balcony. The view was partial to the harbour and surrounding neighbourhood. Location was excellent as it was close to everything. Air conditioning was great. Nice to have amenities in the room such as a microwave and kettle etc. Parkade was good, large enough so that you were able to easily find a space. The bathroom was large and had a Toto toilet which was great. There was also a large separate sink to rinse bathing suits in or do hand laundry in. Good flip flops provided to going to the pool. The pool area was nice and the women's locker room was clean. I like that the pool and exercise area opens at 6am.

United StatesOne of the two elevators was down for repair, not a big issue, but at prime time in the lobby, it got a bit backed up. Additionally, the trash can in the lobby was overflowing both of the days we were there. It is literally across the room from the reception desk so it should not be a problem to see that it needs attention. The restaurant was a bit pricey, but the food was great.
Fabulous view over the harbor! Bathroom toilets were high-tech and wonderful. Others have mentioned noise issues from the float planes--the planes are there but they are only active during the day and do not impact sleeping at all. Staff was friendly, drinks were nice.

Location was fantastic, right on the harbor with a small deck which was so nice at sunset. The linens were great, the amenities were wonderful: pool, hot tub, sauna, workout room, and a giant chess ♟️ game board. Excellent customer service and quiet. Restaurant was great. Highly recommend!
