The room was very clean and cosy. We had everything that we need. The location was great. You can easily walk to Queen street. Our hosta were very friendly and helpfull. I would go back there anytime.

we were happy with the king bed; everything was great! Air conditioner in each room let us control.

Host was very very helpful and accommodating. sometimes hard to understand-but once you understand they are SO sweet. we were able to walk to the main street to shop, stroll etc. 12min? we needed the walk after meals! Mr Hu tries hard to provide a full service experience with an upstairs living area for breakfast snacks and drinks. We had everything we needed. There was an entrance to guest rooms, and the separation was just enough to not feel like you were walking into someone's house.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and comfortable as if we were coming home. The hospitality, the cleansiness, the quiet atmosphere allowed us to relax and explore the best there is in Niagara on the Lake without always having to drive. Easy walk into main street and nearby restaurants.

We liked it all

This was perfect for our stay. We did not have a car and depended on walking and Uber. Both were great. If you have an event at Pillar and Post as we did, it is a five minute walk there. We also walked to Queens Landing, a longer walk, for a birthday celebration. We also rented E bikes from Zoom Rentals to bike along the Niagara River. We walked a lot and whenever we got tired we got an Uber in minutes from wherever we were ($5 or $6). As all others reviewers mention, the b and b is perfect and the hosts are wonderful

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse! The host was absolutely lovely, making sure we were comfortable from the moment we arrived. She explained everything we needed to know about the house, the room, and the surrounding area. The room itself was spacious, with a big bedroom and a large, clean bathroom. The location was fantastic — set in a lovely, quiet neighborhood yet close to everything we needed. I 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay!

This property is an excellent place to stay. The hosts were very accommodating and the place is immaculate, clean, and in a great location. A continental breakfast is provided and there is a fridge that is available with snacks, water, and juice. Downtown Niagara on the Lake is a 10 minute walk away.

This house was not right in the downtown but close enough to walk, which we did! Area is residential and safe.

Lovely neighborhood. Rooms were extremely clean. Breakfast was self-serve and light, but perfect - options included fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, oatmeal, a different pastry/bread every day. The owners were very gracious and friendly.

This bed and breakfast was an immaculate, well run, comfortable place to stay. Although breakfast was not available, the gracious hosts made sure we had plenty to eat. They were very helpful and accommodating.

Located in a quiet neighbourhood, welcomed in person by the hosts with lots of information and availability to assist. The light breakfast snacks provided were a great start to the day, and we were close to cycling paths and an easy, picturesque walk to main area of town. Room was a good size and very clean, room temperature was good and easy to control on a very hot summer day.

I can't think anything they can do better. Well, one thing I will bring it up, but the property may not be able to change it - the 3 bedrooms are all at the second floor without inside of elevator. If you have elder people, handicaps or little kids, just be careful of the safety.

The wife Haili prepared a lot of great snacks through all day, with a lot of bottles of water, soft drinks in the mini fridge . Also fruits, mini bread, sweets, coffee, tea, everything she can think about for the morning peace, make you feel comfortable and still very privacy. Thank you Haili for your thoughts and cares in those little details. Location of this property is very close to the Main Street and I enjoyed my every morning jogging around the town and river shore.

The only potential drawback for some travelers is that breakfast is not prepared by the hosts. However, they provide a well-organized self-serve station equipped with a microwave and mini fridge, making it easy to prepare a light meal. The station includes fruit, buns, croissants, instant oatmeal, eggs, and a Keurig coffee machine with milk and sugar. Bottled water is also available at the station and in every room.

We had a wonderful stay at Charlottetown House. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, informative, and genuinely interested in helping us make the most of our visit by offering thoughtful recommendations. The property was spotless, very comfortable, and pleasantly quiet—ideal for a relaxing getaway. For the level of comfort provided, the price is just right. We honestly have no downsides to report. Highly recommended!

Although Johnson and Haili specify that they don't serve breakfast we were very happy with what they did serve. There were snacks available all day; fresh fruit in the morning with muffins or croissants; hard-boiled eggs and cheese; orange juice, tea and coffee. It was just what we needed.

Charlottetown House is a beautiful, immaculately maintained property. Our room was one of three guest rooms and was spacious with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and well stocked with shampoo, conditioner asnd soap. Parking is available at no cost onsite which is a huge plus in Niagara on the Lake. The owner was very friendly, helpful and responsive. The property is walking distance from Queen Street in the center of town, yet it is in a quiet residential neighborhood. I’ve been to NOTL many times and this is the best accommodation option I have found.
