Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

DenmarkThe walls are super thin. You can hear people talking and televisions through the walls. And if anybody is walking to rolling a suitcase on the floor above it is very noticeable. The guests were not excessively noisy, there is simply very poor sound proofing through the whole motel.

United StatesThe person who checked us in was SO friendly and welcoming. There were some nice details like a welcome letter, robes and a call to check on us that added to the stay. The facility is older, but has been nicely updated. We wanted to get an early start on the way to Banff and Jasper, so this location worked well for us too.

CanadaWe were put in the pet room with our small hypo allergic toypoodle. We are not a big fan of the long dog hair, the smell and the scratches on furniture that came along with this room. We paid (pet fee was additional) more to get less and our dog is not the type of dog that sheds, smells or scratches so we really find those things unpleasant, we didn’t make that choice for our own home and do not like it when we get the worst room because we have a dog.
