Nice neighborhood, decent bathroom

Extreme smell of dog everywhere coming through the vents, a lot of noise in the night and the only way we have solved the dog smell was using some scents used in bathrooms...

Nobody was at the property to let us in when somebody did finally arrive they didn’t know anything about it and made us drive 20 minutes away to another property and when we got there, they showed us a bed in the middle of their living room. This property is a scam.

No answers to my messages. We had to book elsewhere and I lost my money.

Never book accommodation here even for free

This accommodation is beyond terrible. When I booked in early 2025 there were no reviews of the property and therefore no information on it however, knowing what I know now I wouldn’t even recommend it to my worst enemy. The rooms stunk like cat urine and other things I shouldn’t describe. The property felt unsafe and the cleanliness was nonexistent. We were booked in to stay two night and we didn’t even stay one, we sorted emergency accomodation with our friends instead.

only one cup for coffee or tea in the kitchen. Other guest did not wash up their dirty dishes. no seating in our room. no bedside side lamps. some nights were quite noisy.

Nothing

Everything. The house was old, dirty, smelly and loud. There was a dog barking around 2am and the worse part was the owner yelling at him to make it shut up. The fridge with old and spoiled food, the bathroom has not been cleaned in who knows how long. It was disgusting and unpleasant. Accommodations like this shouldn’t be offered and booking should not permit them

The manager was nice

The owner wasn’t responsive about how to get into the accommodations. They had a lot of dogs, which made the place smell a bit bad and also noisy (dogs whining, nails scratching the floors). There were 2 people who scared my girls; they were wandering around outside, 1 had a flashlight and was shirtless and 1 was walking in a rush in rounds around the yard and house. It definitely was NOT family friendly. 1 of the beds were really stiff and there wasn’t enough blankets provided for 3 guests which was indicated on the reservation. Was woken up at 6am by the same people who were rustling around at night.

It was terrible. It was not clean and Room smelled bad. There was a dog in the property that was making a lot of noise.

Unfortunately, my experience was not good. The house had an unpleasant smell—like dampness, old furniture, and dog. The bed was extremely hard, and I couldn’t rest properly. There was noise throughout the night: first until midnight, then other guests were loud until 3 a.m., and at 5 a.m., the host was washing dishes with the dog making noise. The bathroom was shared between all the rooms, which I wasn’t expecting. While it wasn’t completely dirty, it didn’t feel comfortable. You could also hear every door and floor creaking. Overall, it was a very uncomfortable experience. However, I appreciate that the host understood the situation and refunded half of the reservation, as I only stayed one night out of the four I had booked.

I liked the location of the property as I was looking for somewhere quiet. The neighbourhood was lovely.

Unfortunately, I had a really bad experience. From the check-in to sleeping. I am very unsatisfied with the experience as I booked the place for a peaceful nights rest. That is not what I received. Firstly checking in was quite difficult as nothing was given to me beforehand on the best way to get in the house. After five minutes of calling and knocking on the door, I finally found someone in the back. They were nice and apologetic and helped me with the key codes. I went to sleep around 11:30 and didn’t sleep that entire night. There was a dog outside whining, once it came in the house I heard echos of the dog nails scratching on the floor. Even though I was at the top floor all of the noises that entire night echoed through. Somehow there was someone up the entire night banging around and making noise noises. I was unable to sleep. Or if I did doze off another banging sound. In the early morning of four to five a.m. there were key codes being executed that were extremely loud . I am not exaggerating. I was unable to sleep even a half an hour that night. It was extremely disappointing that it was completely noisy the entire night. Anyone travelling here should be aware that this place is an old building. They have the basics. Which originally was fine for me until I didn’t get any sleep. I will say that the place had an old musty mothball smell, and there was no screens on the windows.

Love the location and the space on each room. The manager was attentive and available every day.

The house smelled like pet urine pretty often, and our bed made an unreasonable amount of noise every time we moved slightly during our sleep.

Cuifeng Bai was really helpful and accommodating. However, the guy owner was too loud and foot steps are deafening. The wifi too was slow and low data signal connectivity due to the location.

I couldn't enter to the facility as the access code didn't work I stayed outside for 3 hours

It was very clean and the door locks worked first time I tried them which was nice.

An AC unit would be nice. Being an older house and not well insulated, it was incredibly warm.

Bed was comfy. Location good. House was minimally clean except for kitchen.

Not cozy, not homelike: owner trying to make a buck but house is NOT ready for guests. Door code was not working yet; finally found someone near the garage who let us in. Contacted the owner but no response till late at night. The rooms are barren: a bed only and one bedside table and lamp. We'd requested a lamp on each side of bed & owner said he could furnish it-- there were 2 lamps in the room but nowhere to plug in the second one. We are a couple but they provided only 1 towel. Overhead light fixture was extremely dim & flickered. No luggage rack, no chair, no towel rack or hook, no hangers in the closet, no waste basket. Overwhelming perfume/laundry smell throughout the house: alert to people with allergies. There are people living in the basement: their dog whimpered and whined all night long. WIFI connection is poor. I'd planned to make breakfast but did not want to use a kitchen that wasn't clean.
