That said, I want to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the pool closure and the hot tub jets. Unfortunately, due to a guest-related incident in the pool, we were required by Alberta Health Services regulations to close the area temporarily to ensure it was properly sanitized and safe for all guests. We recognize how disappointing this can be, especially when relaxation is part of your stay, and we're truly sorry for the disruption. As for the hot tub jets, you're absolutely right—following a lightning strike two weeks ago, several electrical systems across the hotel were damaged, including some in-room TVs, an elevator system, and the hot tub motor. While we’re actively working with our contractors to resolve these issues as quickly as possible, we understand the impact these challenges may have had on your experience and deeply regret the inconvenience. We appreciate your understanding and patience more than we can say, and we look forward to welcoming you back with everything running smoothly next time.
