Literally the single thing that can be improved are the bathroom fans. They are very under powered. A 10 minute hot shower kept the room humid for hours with the fan on the entire time. Everything else really was great.

The location was nice, if you want to be a short drive out of the city. It had a great view of the mountain and nice grounds to enjoy (fountain, muskoka chairs, etc.). The pool and gym were in good order, and extra towels were provided. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was top notch. We would definitely stay here again.

BEST Best Western (and we have stayed in a lot because they are pet friendly) we have ever stayed in. Lovely grounds and outside deck that were well maintained, great rooms that opened to the outside also, which made it so easy to unload and take our dog in and out, nice sized room which was very clean, beautiful regional artwork both in the room and throughout the hotel, and a great complimentary breakfast in the hotel restaurant in the morning. Staff was pleasant and helpful. A great experience overall!

We arrived at 9:30 pm. The restaurant closed at 10:00. By the time we were checked in, it was 9:45. The restaurant served us some supper with a smile. We were thankful for the kindness!

The room was spacious, with desk, chair and comfortable seating. Having two sinks was especially useful when we were both getting ready in the morning. The bed was amazingly comfortable and we slept like babies! Great breakfast options!

This was my first time using booking.com and unfortunately, I didn't realize that if I had booked directly with the hotel, they offer a medical rate of approximately $100 discount. I have emailed booking.com to see if a medical rate is available for future bookings. I was required to stay overnight because of a long drive to the hospital for a specialist visit.

The staff at the front desk were exceptionally courteous and helpful. The room was very clean and updated. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and great that it was included with the room rate.

I liked the surroundings. Kelly in the dinning room was great to help us with a special request for breakfast. The dinner we had in our room was pretty good. I had the shrimp pasta and my husband had the chicken Caesar salad. Good size portions for the money. No complaints. Our room view was lovely and nice to have an area for our fur baby to stretch her legs..

Location was great, breakfast was superb, views are amazing! We got upgraded to a king room with exterior access and it made our stay 100% better. Definitely recommend this hotel for a staycation or if you're looking for a relaxing stopover after a long drive, we did not use other amenities as we were just there for a night.

The broken sliding door in our room was annoying and the curtains were filfy. Husband also got sick from the food at the restaurant.

We loved our room however when booking the room on the booking app it told me it was a top floor king suite which is not what we got but we still liked the room we got.

This hotel is located in the outskirts of Thunder Bay, ON and was once a ski resort. It has a restaurant that is reasonably priced and a variety of menu selections. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

I did not know the hotel gives memberships for use of the gym, so lots of people who were not hotel guests were using the pool, which made it very crowded. I'm from Thunder Bay and chose this hotel as a staycation with my kids for something different to do. Pretty much everyone we met there was from tbay as well. I didn't get much sleep as our floor had a lot of families that knew each other, so kids were running back and forth down the hallway until 4 am. Adults were pretty loud as they were all having a good time. It's a great hotel if thats what you're looking for as no one did anything about the noise at all. I prefer a quiter one as my kids go to bed by 9.

The pool was great, nice size, and nice Sauna. Has a nice large change room at pool with showers as well. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and it was nice to have a hot cooked breakfast which was included in our stay. Facilities are nice.

Not so big on the beds. They were probably fine, but both my partner and I have chronic back pain, so it was difficult sleeping.

The hotel staff were very kind and really friendly. The in-house restaurant was fabulous! Their staff was great to talk to. We loved the view of the sum coming up over the mountain!

Had some trouble getting door to lock on room 103. Had to pull very hard for latch to catch. Some dust bunnies on the ceiling from air conditioner fan.

I didn't like that we couldn't take out breakfast. Sitting down in a restaurant like setting is not convenient for some. The bathroom was very small for a family of 4.
