How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was all good. The only thing keeping it from getting a 10 out of 10 is the fact that when booking through Booking.com we were lead to believe breakfast was included for each night staying there. We stayed three and received only 1. When I mentioned it on the hotel site I was informed that I was supposed to ask for one each day-the front desk staff never explained this. Otherwise, it is a great place.
This property is well located. Clean and has a very good restaurant. The casino is attached.

Hotel Entrance was not at the main entrance, which was a bit odd. Didn't have a blow dryer but the nearby cleaning staff did.
The breakfast was good, more than one option was available.

More breakfast variety.
The facility was very striking, very clean and tidy. Breakfast was good but typical hotel fare. The facility is quite a distance from downtown amenities but is right beside the Big Valley Jamboree site.

The bathroom door needs to be shaved down as it is very hard to close. At the buffet they only had seafood. I don't eat it so we had to go to the bar to eat. If you have kids you need to.order room service or go.out if you don't eat seafood or are allergic to it. We were told kids are not allowed in the bar area which is stupid for the above reasons.
The beds are very comfortable. The room was large. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was good for us.

The pool was currently shut down for maintenance at the time of our stay

It was impeccably clean, the staff were great and it was a lot of fun to go to the Casino and try a couple games. Food was top-notch. It was a great place to stay and I am excited to go there again.

Zero complaints.
We came for a wedding, but outside of your facilities. We did not use your casino, because we are not gamblers. What impressed us the very most, was your exceptional staff both in the breakfast/dinner buffet and front reception, Reyzeh, who was on duty and very accommodating with late checkouts and super friendly. Your restaurant staff were very hard working. They treated us like family. The food was most delicious, both for breakfast and the Friday night buffet. The brisket was mouthwatering, tender. The room was very clean. Top notch! Your staff definitely pay attention to detail. We reside in the Okanagan, so we know that super customer service is number one. We do not have a negative word to say and if we ever had to, we would be back. We will give Booking.com a fantastic review also. A big thank you to all of your great staff.

We knew that the pool was unavailable at the time we booked. It would have been great to have for the kids.
Rosie's Restaurant at the Hotel was clean and welcoming. The buffet for both dinner and breakfast had plenty of choices (hot and cold). The servers were friendly and efficient. Our rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. We had almost everything we needed. I was pleased we had a fridge and a microwave. The hotel seems fairly sound proof. The price we paid was reasonable. I believe it was lower due to the lack of pool facilities at this time. The hotel is changing ownership.

The only down fall was that the pool was closed for maintenance. That, of course, is no fault of the hotel.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room on a whole was good.
