How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Pool needs to be cleaned properly. We spotted some brown sticky things around the edges that could be either baby poo accident or peanut butter

Difficult to get anywhere without a car, very basic breakfast, lacked that personal touch.

The signage. There is a large Best Western sign in the corner of the parking lot of the Prestige Inn. The signage of the actual Best Western which is behind the Prestige Inn, is small, three feet tall and hidden by shrubs. I think the Prestige Inn gets a lot of the wrong clients trying to check in.

Staff were all very friendly and happy to be of any assistance. Breakfast was great, lots of options ....it was busy both mornings we were there though food was constantly being replenished. Coffee and cookies available for guests in the lobby was a nice touch. The room was a perfect size for family of 4 (two double beds that were super comfy)

Nothing. Highly recommended.
The room was a great size with good amenities. Special thanks to the lovely Manager who was very friendly and accommodating. The Breakfast was a good variety and kept well stocked. We used the swimming pool, which was good.

Good parking. Walking distance to a good restaurant . Lots of amenities in the room. Comfortable. Nice continental breakfast- good food variety. There was some light construction by the front door, but it did not impede a person being able to access the hotel.

The lady at the breakfast room was upset about something and was impatient but after few minutes another employee talked to her and she got calm.

Pillows more firm. Toilet paper BEHIND toilet very difficult. Needs to be more comfortable to reach.

I wish the extra blankets were thicker! I get cold easily, and with the sofa bed flatter than the regular bed, I wish we were provided with thicker blankets. I also wish they had more accessibility options, such as automatic doors!
Breakfast was great! I wish they had more beef and chicken options. However, I know breakfast is standard throughout hotels, so it was overall a great experience. If they wanted to stand out, I would say having more beef and chicken options would put them at the top of my list. The room was also spotless, and the staff, from the host to the room caretakers, were friendly!

Pool room too cold. Sauna not ready. Lack of weight room. Breakfast needs to go until 10. Bed was way too soft. Bathroom light was super dim, felt like night lighting. Never been in a bathroom before with such poor lighting.
Pool was nice, but needs hot tub or sauna, and room temp in pool needs to go up a few degrees. Weight room is needed as well. 1100 checkout was wonderful, hate places that do earlier. The warm breakfast was great, and the reason we chose Best Western.
