Felt the lighting in bedrooms inadequate , could have had extra pillows (one or two). There was also a few earwigs around (although I recognize they probably enjoy cottages I didn’t enjoy them lol… I found 10+)

Location was great , beautiful view , kids loved the pool, evening walk on the beach looking at the sunset was 10/10. Love the view from the deck ! Enjoyed the fresh towels ! A/C was awesome !

Our kids loved the playground but we did notice some of the equipment needs tending to for safety purposes (broken/loose/not secured pieces).

The location, view and playground were fantastic for our family. Being able to use the washing machine and dryer was a bonus! Cottage was great.

Needed more pillows and blankets. Lighting in the bedrooms was not good. Dining chairs was not high enough when sitting at the table.

Great views overlooking the lake which would be lovely in the summertime out on the deck. The location was good for us in our travels. Had all the basic amenities.

10:30 Check out time is too early if we consider the check in time of 15:00 it does not need 5 HR to get cleaned for next customer. Check out time need to 12:00pm

From the appearance of the photos you think you get a whole detached cottage, except it is more motel style. The yard picture is taken at an angle that makes it appear bigger. Could do with some Reno's and brighter more welcoming bathroom. No direct access to the beach, which is more like a bay inlet.

Good value for what I paid for, friendly staff. It was clean which is a plus. Just run down. The outside furniture was new which was nice. Each unit had a BBQ. If you had kids 8 and under the play area would be ok for them. The view was pretty. Close to Sandspot and shining waters, Cavendish beach and board walk.

Some of the kitchen utensils are in need of replacement. The curtains don't completely block the Sun in the morning for those who are light sleepers. The back deck needs maintenance. There was a spot by the stairs that was separating. Nails were sticking out. Some of the toys/playground need to be replaced, but then it's just a perk, so it's not a big deal. Pillows were a bit thin. I should have brought extra, but then the bed was extra comfy.

Location, location, location. It's very close to the attractions in Cavendish. The sunset view was spectacular. The playground was good. Our son really enjoyed that. The heat pump was great! Especially with extreme heat summer 2024. The staff was very quick in remedying the empty propane tank for the bbq. He was very helpful. Hot water was quick and plenty. Some hotels take forever to heat up. This cottage was quick.

The pull out couch was horrible- super uncomfortable, very loud/ squeaky and just super hard. For the price we paid, I would have expected a better option. Cottage needed some TLC (peeling paint/ wall paper, etc) but overall was fair.

Enjoyed the kid amenities on the property. Great view. Well kept property.

There’s no fan in the bedroom. AC is only provided in living room. It will be a lot better if there’s a fan to cool the whole cabin as we have a little baby almost get heat stroke.

The weather could have been warmer! We enjoyed sitting on the porch but it was chilly!

The location was beautiful! We stayed in early June and it was still chilly. We enjoyed watching the fog roll in, hiking the beach, watching the mussel farm boats go in and out, as well as watching the children playing on the play area!

It was a chilly night and the HVAC had a hard time keeping up - eventually got it comfortable with the heat pump set to 30 degrees celsius.

Kitchen appliances might need and upgrade. The kitchen is probably too small for a large group.

Great location. All the staff members were nice and even willing to make accommodations for our arrival. Check-in and check-out was straightforward. The view was fantastic.
