We had a defective and very noisy toilet input unit (158), and we regretted the absence of air conditioning. 😔

Location is amazing. St. Lawrence River right outside the sliding glass doors to the back of the room! And the restaurant served high quality, sophisticated food and beverages, and this was breakfast!

Wonderful inn/auberge. Staff very friendly. Definitely have breakfast at the inn, amazing! We had a balcony room directly in front of the water. Lovely.

The room was extremely small but it was comfortable

Beautiful location overlooking the St Lawrence seaway. Asked for a change in room so that we could overlook the water and was accommodated very easily.

The price was high. I originally booked an “inn room” for $139 (plus pet fee, or so I thought) but was later told pets were only allowed in the motel section which resulted in an increased cost to $179 + pet cost. My total all in ended up being $250 The motel section shouldn’t cost more than the inn/boutique section, especially considering some of these rooms are used specifically for pets as all the carpet stains would suggest.

The location of the property is great, the views from the motel section were stunning!

We love this property. It combines convenience of a motel-like room with the charm of an auberge and it is situated right on the edge of the St. Lawrence river. Spectacular view from our little balcony.

All was good and served the purpose. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to explore but I'm sure the area is gorgeous and worth to spend several days. We may be back some time in the future to stay longer.

We were driving back home to PEI from Ottawa and just needed a place to stay overnight because it was apparent that we wouldn't be able to drive all the way and had to make a stop somewhere. The price and location were the two major factors when we were booking. The check in was easy and the room was comfy enough for 3 adults. We even had a nice view to the St Laurence river.

Few amenities, just the basics but knew that going in. Hasn't been updated for a long time(old carpet, bathroom) it was also the last of operation though.

Sorry to say, I did not have breakfast as it was EXTREMELY expensive!! Also, the room was EXTREMELY small and no room for luggage, even though the room was very clean.

I did like the location of the hotel; I also really liked the set-up of the front office area with its cozy chairs and the library.

There were issues around booking and room rates. Although I specifically asked for a pet friendly room and I booked at the quoted price, I received an email later telling me the room I booked did not allow for pets and they were moving me to a room that was pet friendly... for over double the advertised room rate. Just be careful when booking to make sure you know what you will be charged. I called Booking.com and the rate was lowered to $10 more than the advertised room rate plus a $30 pet charge on checkout and, instead of 2 double beds, we got a very small room with 1 double and 1 single.

The room was very clean. The view was spectacular. The staff were very friendly. Lots of hot water.

No AC. We had a floor fan, but the electric recepticle didn't work. We opened the door for air, and were fine.
