The family suite is below the restaurant room so it can be noisy as this is an old building.

We were alone in the hotel so we were spoiled - the staff was very nice and made sure we had a nice stay. We stayed in the family suite. It is spacious, Tv in each room. Hot tub on the terrace is big.

The refrigerator area can be improved. We found the coffee cups are not so clean.

The room is large, with two bedrooms. The bedding is cozy and comfortable, very clean in the bathroom. Very convenient to go to the ski resort, about 5 min driving. The breakfast included is very nice.

Instruction Manual: We were unable to use the high quality smart TV in our room because we didn't have an instruction sheet for the operation of the TV remote. As a result, we simply used our laptop to stream a series we follow.

The location of the auberge provided a wonderful view of the massive St. Lawrence River and was a very short walk to a picturesque riverside park. Our room was fully equipped with every amenity. We especially enjoyed using the hot tub on the hotel terrace. And most importantly, the staff were welcoming and attentive and made our short stay a delight.

The drive in is a bit challenging , make sure to use your low gear on descent .

Location was excellent for both summer and winter activities. Owner and staff were very friendly and super helpful. We really enjoyed supper located onsite , meal included meats prepared on site as well Breakfast which is included in room price was exceptional .

Either Booking.com made an error or hotel staffs were fraud with number of kids. The hotel staffs made me pay $40 extra. I have searched my hotels indicating 3 kids and mentioned their age (5, 8, and 10). I have also stayed at 3 other hotels during this trip. When i was searching for this hotel, I remember there was a note, one kid could stay free in this hotel. But in real they have changed me. Additionally, I was looking for a hotel not too far away from tadoussac, QC. But according to booking.com Map this hotel appeared to be close enough but, in fact, it was 2 hours away. Breakfast was good but would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Delicious breakfast, cozy rooms and comfortable beds. Beautiful view and a very short drive to the mountain. Staff was very friendly. Hot tub was a plus!

This is not about the place. Booking.com has the wrong price for the 6 person room. The price set is for 4 people (even if you say it’s for 6 people). A week before we arrived they reached out and said that it will be an extra $50/person per night. We were able to work it out, however booking.com should pay them the balance. It is unfortunate that the website has the incorrect price and the really sweet host should not have to suffer.

The hosts are an older couple. They checked us in, cleaned and cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner. They spoke very little english but were fun and laidback. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely comeback again!

We booked the place for a ski trip, specifically for the hot tub and proximity to le massif. The hot tub had to be reserved in advance (which was fine) but could only be used for a 20min slot (even though no one else was waiting.) If we had known that we probably would have booked somewhere else. We were two in a room that slept 4, and found it felt crowded. There wasn’t much room to hang ski things or bathing suits - thank goodness it wasn’t too wet that weekend. Parking lot was pretty tight- spots weren’t marked (unclear where to park) and needed to fit a lot of cars.

Included breakfast was nice (eggs scrambled or fried, with toast and choice of bacon/sausage). Served quickly too. Location great for skiers- very close to the base of Massif. Pretty waterfront views, nice town. Quaint rooms.

In my two years coming here there hasn't been a moment I haven't enjoyed.

Richard and Josephine are two amazing hosts, who are always willing to let us practice our french while also balancing the ease of speaking in English. Their home is beautiful and the views are unbeatable with a sunrise of the st. Lawrence.

Beautiful place only 4 minutes from the ski hill! Our room was warm and cozy and had an amazing view of the St. Lawrence river. The staff are incredibly friendly and make your stay feel very personalized. The breakfast and dinner was always delicious and everything homemade. The Spa after a ski day was an added bonus!
