The bathroom in the room could use an upgrade. It appears dated and does not match the overall esthetic the place seems to be going for. It would be beneficial for additional plugs or extensions at the bedside.

Overall, the place was really cool. The lounge at the entry of the building, with fireplace, was an excellent quiet spot to reflect in the early morning. We did not try the pool or hot tub, but the amenities did seem inviting, including a shower and washroom close by. The grounds are lovely. There is an overall zen vibe about the place. We are here at the very beginning of the off-season, so that might be a reason for the tranquility.

Seemed very short staffed. Our room was not serviced at all during our 3 day stay, had to ask for clean towels. Restaurant has lovely views and great potential, food was decent, but again seems to suffer from staffing issues Location is lovely however, be aware it’s a 30 min walk to the town centre.

First of all, we arrived at 2pm and were told we could check in at 4pm. We left and came back to find our room not ready. We were told 30-35 mins and it was only ready at 6pm. We were allowed to leave our bags in the room at least. All told, I paid $355 CAD for for a room with 2 double beds. The rooms are renovated but already falling apart and not AT worth the price they are charging. The bathroom is falling apart. We needed a plunger to unblock the toilet and they couldn’t find one in the building. They had to go to the neighbouring building to get one. The staff apologized and explained. They were very nice and understanding and not to blame. But to charge that much for a badly renovating motel room; terrible on the part of the owners.

1) We couldn't use the sink in the bathroom as it was leaking like crazy. We had to wash teeth in the shower. We couldn't report it as we use the sink late after dinner. I am wondering how the person cleaning the room didn't see that issue as the water was pouting on the floor!!!! 2) Breakfast area floor wasn't clean
