Area was a little sketchy, with people throwing up on the pavement in front of the main door. Check in time restriction. Our room key fitted to another room door and vice versa, which we found out by accident. Did not feel secure.

The bathrooms were tiny, in one of them the sink is literally in the shower. The other doesn’t have a fan so it’s damp for hours every time someone showers. No soap or hand towels to wash hands. You must rent a towel, but when I went to get one there was no one at the front desk.

Good location, lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Common area was decent and the price was good.

Bathrooms had no fan or decent drainage so the floors were flooded the entire time. Showers were touching the toilet and the toilet paper was on top of the toilet and wet. Floors were so loud every step sounded like an elephant walking through, so it was impossible to sleep despite wearing ear plugs. Way too expensive for the quality of the place.

The shared bathroom, there was no fan working in the one i used, lack of air. And once you had a shower, the floor was flooded. No bathroom rug. Not enjoyable.

The place is in a horrible zone, there are a lot of homeless people just square away. There’s a church full of them. We could hear them screaming in the night and morning. Two of them were fighting a block away. One of them was sleeping in between the entrance doors. The room smelled really sweaty.

The both bathrooms were neat but small and didn't feel comfortable at all, bathmats were super wet, I couldn't even step on it, would be better to have more hangers for clothes and towels there

This place has a relatively low rating, so I didn't have high expectations, but it's turns out to be quite nice! Staff is nice and helpful, facilities are pretty clean and neat, it wasn't bad at all! Moreover, the location is very good, it's only 10 minutes walk to the train station and close to the old city too.

The host was very nice

The host was really nice so the price of the hostel I guess threw me off considering what you are getting the room smelled so bad it was hard to stay in the room we were not allowed to bring our own blankets the reasoning was a little strange considering. I probably got maybe 3 hours of sleep total due to the noise coming from across the street the bar stays open till 4:00 in the morning on the weekends. I think the smell was probably the worst!

Did not feel comfortable with the location. While it was a short walk to old quebec there was a homeless man on the doorstep and I had the wrong code for the door due to the desk staff poor handwriting when I came back in the evening. It was a bit scary.

The washrooms are small but clean. The showers on the other hand are too small, there is too little room to hang your towel, clothes and toiletries. The bath mat was quite soggy and dirty. The shower itself was clean.

It was a very nice hostel. The host gave us a bigger room because the room we booked was too hot (it was a very hot day). The room was spacious and we enjoyed our stay. The common areas and the kitchen have enough room and equipment.

It was a bit far from downtown. There are only small lockers where you can leave your stuff, there are not big enough to secure all your stuff during the day..

I was able to meet a lot of other people travelling alone. The price was very cheap.
