We had to change location for breakfast and any other activities like massage and other things. There was also no milk or cream for coffee at the location in the morning. I was also expecting a more antique look in the bedroom as this is a 2 century old house, not ikea furniture and metal foldable chairs..

Very cold room (maybe ask that the room temp be at what you like before arriving). Took quite a while for the room to warm up. Shower water temp did not get hot.

Easy walk to many places. Coffee and tea available at all times (have to get your own milk though).

The other side room is not with sunlight at all, which is a bit cold.

One room is full with sunlight, which is wonderful. Facilities are old but clean and functional.

Breakfast was at some Chinese restaurant down the road ( unbeknownst to us) and disappointing .

Breakfast not available on site….one block away at another facility. There was an extra charge. There was a coffee maker on site …..no creamer was provided. I asked a staff member and she was able to locate some. A small disappointment. Also…..Check in instructions were confusing

The only negative thing is the traffic noise in the morning, because of the small air conditioner in the window, the noise of traffic can be a bit of a problem if you're a lite sleeper.

The location was great, close to everything, just a short walk to the main road where all the restaurants & stores are. The rooms are very nice & clean , this is an old house with a lot of history, the bed & bathroom,a small fridge and the big flat screen TV are the only modern things in the room. This place has a lot of history, very charming & interesting.

Sound attenuation between rooms was poor. Hot water lacking for shower. Toilet didn’t flush well.

WHen I booked, it said there was a 8.50$ breakfast. When I got in the room, there was the times ( 6AM to 9AM ) for the breakfast. So I put an alarm early. Before going to work I went to get to the breakfast, but when I went downstairs they said there was no breakfast available. I would have preferred knowing, so I could have planned my morning accordingly. Another thing is that it's a very old house, so whenever people would walk in the corridor, it made the bed shake so much I thought it was earthquakes. It woke me up late and early in the morning.

My room was OK ( two beds facing each other and a bathroom.

The floors in the room could use some more attention.

Very nice historic building, details inside are amazing. Free coffee is a nice addition and jacuzzi on the balcony (but we couldn’t use it because of the weather)

Liked all except floors are thin. Feel floor vibrating and feel like someone is in the room when someone is walking above. But would stay again nonetheless because it was a lovely room and pretty inn with all the conveniences we need

The breakfast was excellent. The location was too, as we walked all around the beautiful lake side park and enjoyed th ease of walking to dinner.

The front garden had not been tended since the summer rush season. The room bathtub had a rounded bottom which was a bit challenging.

The host was very attentive. The room finishing were beautiful. We loved being able to sit in the elegant dining room with a bottle of our own wine dining on food we had purchased in town. After dinner we moved into the elegant lounge and played a few games of cards. It was elegance of a time long gone.

Only minor complaint is that the bed wasn’t very comfortable. Left my husband with a sore back. But if in the area we would still book again if for one night.

The stay was nice. Large comfortable room and nice comfy bed. Clean. The breakfast was a nice touch. What made it exceptional was the service we received. Even though we arrived on a quiet off-season weekend we were treated really well in the check in and check out process and at breakfast. I would definitely stay there again if I go back to Magog

The hotel does not say so in the information that it provides, but there is reception on site only between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Outside of the reception hours, a note on the locked front door sends us to another building about 300 meters away. Also, if you arrive after 4:00 PM, because there is no reception, you have to figure out yourself where the room is and whatever other information is normally exchanged during the reception process. We found this to be a very unpleasant experience.
