The floor I was on had a large family staying as well. They were very loud and the kids would speak and run loudly in the hall until midnight. Since the hotel is finishing renovations, the parking was in the back and there was not clear or easy to have easy access to the entrance. I had to walk around the hotel with all my bags.

People talking loudly during evening in the terrace of the restaurant, we cannot sleep until they finish their stay (our room is right above that area). We did need to ask the house keeping to clean the bathroom again before using it.

In general, room is nice to stay. Welcome cookies are fresh.

The air conditioning unit was close to one bed and blew cold air on the occupant of that bed. The vent could not be diverted

Avoid rooms on the ground floor. The windows have been opacified to protect your privacy. It is totally depressing, you feel like staying in a cave. I was offered a different room, this time by the very noisy air conditioning machine. I had to pay additional fees to get a proper room on the 4th floor. Also wifi is very sketchy, keeps getting disconnected.

This was our first stay at a Doubletree. We travel frequently and use various brands. The Doubletree brand has a few very annoying features. A . free wifi is only available if you sign up for theirs Hilton Honours program. B . Charging $3 for a small bottle of water in the room. With competing brands , both of these aspects are built into the room price.

Excellent size room. We ate at the Cannery restaurant on both nights of our stay. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A 15% discount is applied to food choices for clients staying at the hotel.

I was shocked that there was a charge for the bottled water (and that the price was inflated). Also, the paid for breakfast was no better than the free breakfasts offered at cheap motels. We could have had a much better breakfast at a real restaurant.

My only tiny issue was that I could hear kids screaming and running up and down the hallway, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. I also had my door knocked on four or five times. The kids were playing in the hall.

The property was very well located for what I required. It was clean, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.. the restaurant that was attached ,The Cannery, was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed every meal I had there.

The pillows were very soft. Our heads sank into them, and we couldn't sleep comfortably. It would have been nice if there were disposable slippers.

We liked the cleanliness. Hopefully, they will keep it this way.

My husband and I stayed here when we first started coming to Kingston to visit our kids. Originally it was not the nicest place to stay. But we heard about the renovation and decided to try it again. We were very happy this time. Clean, and friendly staff. And enjoyed the new pool! It’s not huge. But we needed a break. So it was just right.

Very happy about the location & amenities. It's on me for not checking schedules as we happened to show up during a hockey tournament so there were a lot of kids running the halls until 11pm. We did have a lamp issue, but I let the staff know as we checked out, as it wasn't necessary to use during our stay. Overall a great experience & we will definitely use them in our future.

The restaurant could use more supervision-staff could be a little more upbeat and customer friendly. Nothing in particular-just haven’t felt taken care of like I do with the rest of the place.

The Chocolate cookies, the newly renovated feel, the welcome on the tv. The pool, water was a good temperature.
