I hated the loud, powerful fan in the room!! A kind gentleman came and turned off the cold AC when I asked about it, but unfortunately it seemed as if the fan could not be turned off. In terms of location, the presence of a "cabaret" right opposite may bother some people, but the motel seems to be well run and secure. The young man at the desk even asked why the first name on my driver's license was different than my credit card. I guess he doesn't realize that lots of people use their middle names instead of their first names.

Excellent value for money! The room was as clean as a partially carpeted room can possibly be. Great amenities like a real office chair, a bar fridge, and a high-quality TV. The breakfast was outstanding - far better than I was anticipating. It was not just a simple continental breakfast. There were boiled eggs, cream cheese, peanut butter, two types of juice and cereal, a wide selection of breads, bagels, and baked goods. Very impressive!! It is also very conveniently located relative to XC ski trails and bike trails.

1 housekeeping staff is very rude to me. So my room was cleaned but they forgot to leave toiletries. I politely greeted one cleaner (she ignored me and did not even make eye contact) and I kindly ask for a shampoo and soap. She spoke to me in French, in a rude manner and no eye contact. I explained I just needed a shampoo and soap because there’s NONE in my room. She doesn’t want to give me any and continue to act and talk harshly to me. Eventually, she handed me a shampoo. I then asked reception if do they give out toiletries daily for free and he said yes. I told him the situation with the cleaner and said maybe the supplies on her trolley is not enough (but mind you, I saw she’s got loads of shampoo and soap and all sorts in her trolley). He asked me to proceed to the reception and the man was generous enough to give me toiletries. This incident happened on my 2nd day Aug14,2025 just FYI.

Good location and accessible to bus stop, shops, fast foods and restaurants. The room and bed is comfortable. Environment is pleasant and quiet. The reception staff are nice and helpful. Two gentleman are kind enough to give me toiletries when 1 cleaner refused to give me one. Bamba and Aisha are lovely and excellent in customer service. Also, the Madame in charge of the breakfast is nice, gives a warm smile and polite.

The only criticism was the carpet was overdue for replacement, but it was clean and didn't affect our stay.

Everything was great.

The hotel is in an exceptional location for cycling in Ottawa or in Gatineau Park. Check in staff was wonderful in upgrading our room and offering us charging facilities for our e-bikes. The heated outdoor pool complete with deep end and lifeguard on duty at all times; plus open from 9-9 made our stay even better. Complimentary breakfast buffet was plentiful and well stocked.

I like the breakfast but the only problem is what you offer. Nothing is lactose free. Many people including myself are intolerant to dairy and nothing is offered in your breakfast. Lots of people have those intolerances including gluten-free. You'd probably get more visitors that way too. Not have all the breakfast but just the few items like cheese, yogurt etc.

Restock of facecloth and towels. Bed made daily. Clean. Very decent breakfast included. We didn’t get to try the heated outdoor pool but a nice addition. Availability of ice (no extra fee) as well as laundry. Staff pleasant.

Did not like where our room was...Room 201. It was across from where the buses parked on the hotel lot and was very busy. Heard the buses every morning and night.
