Spotlessly clean. Lovely large windows let in natural light. Loved the deck and that it was right on the water! Very comfortable bed!

The floor to ceiling views of the water is wonderful and relaxing. The unit is new, and everything inside and outside is in very good condition. It is very tastefully designed and equipped. It was great to be able to do a load of wash since we were halfway into our 17-day trip of Newfoundland. The back deck along the edge of the water is a nice place to sit in the chairs, with lots of privacy, and enjoy the views with a cup of coffee or a glass of beer or wine.

I thought it would be too small for our family of 4, and the kids did fight at night sleeping on the pullout coach, but they still say it was the best place we stayed in Newfoundland.

This location was incredible. My boys loved being beside the ocean, and we're so excited to find 2 lobsters in the rocks. The place was modern, clean and a beautiful view!

the length of our stay, just one night...

this place is super clean and comfortable, with a great bed and bedding, soft towels, excellent water pressure, and the wifi is fast and easy to log on to... it's very nicely furnished, and has a view of the sea to die for... we didn't use the washer and dryer as we only stayed for one night, but that is certainly a plus for anyone staying a while, and there's even an iron and an ironing board.... the host is a good communicator... we highly recommend this place!

This property is AWESOME for a couple stay. Very clean with updated appliances. Located right on the water with an excellent view. Wanted to stay longer than we did. Though we did not use it, there was a washer and dryer in the unit that would have been a much-added benefit if needed.

For a longer stay I would recommend that the owner provide a few more clothes storage options.

Everything one could need on a trip to the west side of Newfoundland! Bonus points for having an apartment size washer and dryer, fridge, stove. So much value for the money.

Very clean and very comfortable facility, right on the water, with a beautiful sunset. We were there twice and enjoyed it both times - except that the weather refused to cooperate on our second visit - still beautiful but “Happy Hour” had to be indoors.😃 We met the owner on our first visit - a very nice man.

Wall between the 2 units was not sound proof. I could hear their phone vibrating as well as their 5am alarm. Could put up a sound barrier for perfect stay!

There was some construction going on across the street that was somewhat loud at times. But the property itself had no negatives.

Everything was clean and comfortable. The deck and view were amazing, and the hiking trail at the end of the street was beautiful.

The view was nice. We were unable to sit out due to the weather, but still had the view with the large windows. The area is very quiet. An perhaps an odd item, but we cooked fish and really appreciated the large stove fan/hood.

Yes the cabin is beautiful and directly on the water which was cool for us but too windy to sit outside (normal I don’t know) and the town is dead quiet no places to eat so not sure Port Saunders is a location that is worth the cost of the cabin that is suited for 2 people.

The small cabin sits directly on the Bay/water at the end of the town in Port Saunders. There is a terrific short walking trail close by at the end of the road (perfect for an evening sunset walk/something to do) At the other end of town there is a shipyard which was very interesting to look at fishing boats. The cabin is in pristine condition, all newly done with clean finishes (could be out of a magazine). The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked and as there are no restaurants in quiet Port Saunders and the cabin is so lovely I’d plan to eat in. Cabin likely best suited to adults/ 2 people (3 if they allow).

Our only problem was that Google Maps says A Wave From it All was a red building that’s actually 3 - 4 buildings down the street. It’s a grey building not the one of the red buildings Google Maps shows.

A beautiful location on Hawkes Bay. Wonderful location for those looking to get away from it all. Just about 7 km from Port au Choix National Historical Site.
