Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaI stayed solo in the King Room and it was spacious and lovely. A wee kitchen space with thoughtful treats and a kitchen with fruit, juice and yogurt provided. Also a small coffee maker and kettle with tea and coffee. There is a table and two chairs and Wanda brings in the incredible breakfast to you on a bar cart. You order the breakfast the night before. And a lovely garden and sitting area out back. That is the only common area tho. No living room or couches to visit if you are with friends. Perfect for a couple or single. It is a nice walk to the Main Street. Check out the botanical gardens at the Pillar and Post on your way uptown!

CanadaJust that we didn’t stay longer!
I don’t even know where to begin! My partner and I loved EVERYTHING about our stay at 627 on King. Firstly, the hosts were incredibly pleasant, responsive, and helpful. The location is great and within a short walk of the “downtown” strip. The grounds of the house are immaculate and boast colourful and fragrant flowers. There’s also a small sitting area in the front yard and a larger one in the back. We stayed in the smallest of the 3 rooms and found it extremely comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed. The hosts even had fresh fruit, juices, yogurts, granola, chips, chocolates, coffee and tea in the room for us to enjoy- so thoughtful! Now for the best part… BREAKFAST! Omg delicious is an understatement. I had avocado toast with salmon eggs Benedict and my partner had the brie and berry French toast. Honestly, the taste and presentation blew our minds- truly better than any hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. To sum it up, everything about our stay at 627 on King was perfection. We absolutely loved it and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

CanadaBelieve every fantastic review. This B&B is located just a few minutes drive to Old Town and just a short 2 minute walk to the Pillar and Post gardens. It was wonderful to come back after a day of sightseeing to relax in this B&B gorgeous garden with comfy chairs and gazebo to block the sun. As for the hosts, Wanda and Kacper, you could not ask for better. So thoughtful and attentive! The breakfasts cooked by Kacper were as good, if not better, than any hotel would serve. Take a break from hotels and try this gem in NOTL.

United StatesNothing could’ve been better…how do you improve on perfect?
Location was perfect…easy to get to main area of Niagra on the Lake; rooms was so comfy (sheets were super soft); fresh fruit and juices awaited us in our room; coffee maker and tea available; shower was awesome; breakfast was beyond words. It was scrumptious and although we could eat in the beautiful garden we chose to eat on a small dining table by a window in our room that was adorned with fresh flowers. And you choose breakfast items from a menu, selected one of 3 times to be served the next day. Was perfect! Wanda and Casper are super hosts for sure!

AustraliaThe 2.5% charge for paying via credit card was unexpected and high.
Kacper went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. The food was plenteous and delicious. The room had a number of niceties that add that special touch such as a variety of hot drinks and nibbles. We also received some lovely wine and chocolates because it was my wife's birthday during our stay. Thanks Kacper.

CanadaWe would have liked to have tea/coffee served with our breakfast as well. There are two coffee makers in the room (drip and French press) which was great but having a second cup option at breakfast would have been great.
The Algonquin room was perfect for our stay. Main floor location was very convenient. The owners were very helpful with our questions. Having the snacks, yogurt and fruit, tea/coffee in our room was an added bonus. The king bed was really comfortable.
