Even though the room was nice and comfortable and had a more modern look inside the room, the first inside of the rest of the hotel had given the impression of the hotel as it was a bit old fashion and needed some refreshing in some cases, eg. painting

The personnel ! Nice room. Quiet room. Occupation not too high in august. Near to shops, bars, restaurants but sufficiently far not to have the noice and crowd. At arrival no shower gel and issue with bathroom door but housekeeping and technician both came to the room to fix it within a few minutes. Amazing. Good job!

Hotel is just very tired. Furniture is chipped, flooring is worn, needs some paint and a face-lift.

The staff was above and beyond pleasant. Greated with a welcome drink , smiling , ready to help. There to provide directions, give out pool towels etc

I think the hotel could have a door with guest key for easy access to the beach. It's a fairly good hotel, good for the price due to the lack of alternatives but it could be better maintained. The beach are better than they looked at first.

The fact that construction was happening, and I was not informed of the noise from the equipment I would hear during the day.

Even though it is in front of the beach, Downtown Nassau didn’t feel safe, so we weren’t comfortable going out in the evening after sunset. Most shops close around 5 PM, and the streets become deserted and don’t feel secure for walking.

In the end, the property offered good value for the price.

The reservation details had not carried over from Booking.com to the hotel correctly and as a consequence we were not registered as having breakfast included. The process to book breakfast was also not explained (you are given a card by reception which you need to log with the kitchen staff each morning). This caused some confusion and awkwardness. There were a few maintenance issues with the room. The tap in the bathroom leaked and we couldn't put items around the sink, the bathroom door wouldn't shut, and the freezer door didn't close tight. The latter was the most disconcerting since my insulin froze in the fridge! However we discussed with the reception and they sent a maintenance person to resolve the issues immediately. We would suggest the maintenance team do an inspection between guests for future. We loved the decor downstairs in the common areas but were surprised to find upstairs outdated. Clearly there was some ongoing renovation as the bathrooms were new, but the hallways and bedrooms were archaic! We would suggest replacing or deep cleaning a number of the loungers around the pool. They have clearly suffered from rain water and sweat over the years!!

Large, comfy bed. Large, powerful, hot shower. Powerful but quiet aircon. Given the hotel is located directly on the main road, we were particularly impressed that the french door was 100% soundproof. The reception staff were attentive, welcoming and kind. The buffet breakfast served a good choice of hot and cold options. The cleaners did a fantastic job.

The only reason why I did not give the facility a higher rate is because the bath was painted over as part of the refurbishment. Sadly, the paint was peeling off hence was not able to enjoy a bath during our stay. But we had the most amazing view from our room and did not want to switch rooms.

Staff could be more informative. There is/was a lot happening around the hotel- and there was little to no information on same.

The hotel overall, and the room in particular, was quite worn. It could really use an update.

I enjoyed this hotel, primarily because of the location and the very friendly staff. My room was spacious and clean, I had a nice view and enjoyed the breakfast. I appreciated being able to relax by the pool in the afternoon and changing clothes before going to the airport in the evening.
